I don't know what all the fuss is about. He could have taken off the lead and just held her by her collar. I'm sure she probably wouldn't have gotten away and the bus driver wouldn't have had to worry about safety concerns.

And I agree with everyone else on Trout, well except for Strauss. Trout hardly ever has harsh words to say to anyone, even times when I think he could or should. _____________________

If the bus driver is claiming safety purposes for kicking them off of the bus, ok........all he had to do was ask them to take the leash off for safety, instead he made the choice to throw derogatory terms at them and then claims safety to save his arse! Sad, I'm glad the bus company came forward though to apologize and publically accept them. If that happened here in the city I lived in, there be full blown riot after a full blown protest!

I don't know about the UK, but around here, unless it's a seeing eye dog or small enough to fit in your bag, pets aren't allowed on buses. Too bad, so sad for her... Here in the UK there's a small element of the BDSM scene who like to draw attention to themselves regardless of whether or not anyone else around consents. Generally they make life difficult for the rest of us who respect other people's right not to HAVE to have their kink waved in their face no matter how inappropriate the setting is. And our bus drivers were cheery chappies in years gone by, now mainly grim to a man or woman. People like their power trips of course. Where you from Stormy? _____________________
