I'm not sure where the one-resident, one-forum mentality comes from, but I like to lurk in a variety of forums - you get a broader and probably more balanced view of what's happening that way.
SC is not for the easily offended, but that's part of what comes with unmoderated speech. Personally, I prefer unmoderated forums because what people post there tells me much more about their inner moderator than on forums where they are constrained. It may sound old-fashioned now, but I recall my mother telling me that a lady acts like a lady because she is a lady, not because people are watching. _____________________

I humbly consider myself a fairly polite and well-spoken person, and yet I continue to associate with the rude mechanicals over on that particular corner of the Aethernet. I admit to using the phrase "bollocking fuckpants" just now, but (a) I think it was justified under the circumstances and (b) if you had ever heard me whilst I was testing the trams in Caledon, you would know me capable of much worse than that. Oaths are an integral part of the process of engineering. |

Take Lewis' words with a grain of salt. He is a fairly active Second Citizen so this 'could' be deemed as hypocritical. |
