However ... the reason I didnt remove the items was because this shitty midnight mafia started rating me negative and send me bad IMs ... instead of talking nice to me and asking me whats goin on. I didnt see I was selling the wrong items before they started sending me treathnan IMs and rating me negative.
so the reason I didnt remove the items was I got mad ... and I still am! Items that were sold to you as "no copy" don't "accidentally" become copy enabled. Experienced builders don't go around selling things with copy/mod/transfer all enabled, so you don't "accidentally" gain the ability to sell these things in a vendor. For someone smart enough to find such exploits, you sure aren't showing much by thinking there's any good explanation for your cheating honest artists. |

You are now KNOWINGLY selling other people's creations without permission. Also IM Char and recommend the removal of him from the Mentor's program. Please, STOP buying this person's items!  |

Some people from Midnight city started rating her negative and sending her naughty IMs instead of asking her what she was doing... and it was a mistake that the hair got sold from her vendomachines. I would have done the same ting (not taking it off sale when somebody were acting like babies.)
and about that other shop nex to the hair salon ... I checked all the items and Imagoel created them all. Give her a break... I mean you guys started all this!

Well, Imagoel has made it clear the type of person she is, so I am not very interested in debating it. I am alot more interested in the message this example will give other potential thieves. Will this whole thing end with
"theives will prevail"
or
"stealing is not worth it, may as well make/sell your OWN stuff".
If the Lindens refuse to get involved, is there any way we can make an example of Imagoel so prospective thieves in the future will decide it's just not worth it? The problem with neg rating is, she neg rates you right back so you are essentially punished in exactly the same way she is even though you didn't do anything wrong.

I'm confused  You created objects with the same name? Then how do you explain taking pictures of the Hug Anim with you in it and placing it on the outside of the box and taking pictures of you in the "rat tails" (which is really called "double french braids"  and then placing that pic in the vendor. Too many inconsisties here to believe that it was a innocent mistake. So you and your muffin mafia need to do the right thing and take down the things that are not yours. Also, I bought some stuff from Imogel a week ago (swing sets) that i will be taking down out of the park and deleting from my inventory...I do not want to even support this type of behavior. ~MJ |

My only comment on this is that a mentor should be comfortable enough when working with Inventory in SL to not make the types of mistakes that Imogoal claims she made when setting up her vendors.
Even giving her an EXTREME benefit of the doubt, her status as Mentor should be revoked because of sheer incompetence. Crikey, I've only been here since November and I already know enough to organize my inventory so items I've created and are currently selling are FAR away from my general stuff-I-bought inventory.

Just wanted to point out that it's not only "the midnight mafia" doing the neg rating. It's others like me who just want to discourage this type of thing, especially since I make things that I don't want to see ripped off either.
Reselling other people's creations affects EVERYONE, not just one group of people. So congrats Imagoel on pissing all of Second Life off.

So lets recap...
Imagoel accidentally boxed up Items that were not hers to sell.
Accidentally re-named the items.
Accidentally took screenshots.
Accidentally designed box art with these screenshots.
Accidentally put them out for sale.
(Mentors make these kinds of mistakes all the time)
Then along comes the "Midnight Mafia" also known as "people that make thier OWN stuff to sell" (a group currently under investigation for participation in the "creativity" racket)
A month ago we ask Imagoel to take down the stuff she should not be selling, but because we were not asking nice enough, she went on selling these items anyways.
The "Midnight mafia" flexed it's muscle by...neg rating Imagoel for selling other people's stuff (it's just not safe walking the streets these days!).
Imagoel neg rates us right back for...I guess getting her mad.
UGH. People like this really frustrate me.

you are right I need to take it all of sale ... and I will and I was goin to untill those midnight city people started treathning me bad... I never asked for trubble.
about the hug launa says I was selling of hers... yes that is true and I talked to her about it and said I would take it of sale because I got the script from a friend and thought he made it... didnt see it was her script... and i thought I took it of sale all over SL however it was still for sale in two of my shops... I changed it now with the script my hubby made.
and about what siggy says ... yes I sold his hottub ... but that was when I was like 14 days old in SL I didnt know the rules and I learned it the hard way.
I appoligise to launa and siggy for selling there object for a shorter periode wich were a mistake... about the hair I am selling... when I get an apoligy from the midnight city people I will take that off sale too... because as I said... I had two items that were called the same and put the wrong ones in my vendor!
I am a very forgivan person IRL and I guess that is why I dont get this taggin me ... so Midnight city people... lets talk it over and Ill remove the objects. |
