Prokofy is actually not the only resident banned from the forums still in world. I am ambivalent about Prokofy's ban being lifted, honestly. It hasn't stopped any of the ongoing harassment by Prokofy, just moved it to a different venue.

Prok wasn't banned for her ideas. She was banned for slander, personal attacks, excessive trolling, and breaking the forum rules on a daily basis. Bringing her back would be cruel, not just to the rest of the forum community, but to Prok herself, because you know it would be more of the same. She'd just end up banned again, and next time it wouldn't be from just the forums.

From: kavak Kolache how is it a former forum writer remains one of the most intresting aspects of the forums and we have one of the longest responses if all he did was insult people? people dont like change and prok had/has alot of ideas to change/ shake things up. embrace change and new ideas after all sl is supposed to be a place where ANYTHING can happen, yet we shun others for there ideas? how do we know that all of proks ideas were bad when most were never tryed? there are things that need to be changed and probally will as sl evolves im sure in the future he will be seen as less controversial and more of an advanced thinker when thsi happens will prok still be banned or will others owe him a big apology? im sure proks not perfect and i didnt see the insult and flamewars that were started by him but everyone deserves a second chance. If they unban prok from the forums, he will just come back and get himself banned again in time. Only this time, if he gets permabanned from the forums, he will also be banned from the SL world.
I wish that would have happened the first time, but that is a personal opinion. Bring him back now though, and you risk losing him entirely. Is that what you want?

If I were Jeska or Jesse and came in here this morning, I'd nuke the site from orbit and either close the General forum permanently, or wipe everything and start from scratch, including peoples' precious post counts. Then I'd demand people show their ID at the door to get back in. This thread, the whole front page filled with spoof threads... this is ridiculous. Let's make sure we give them a damn good reason to take the forums away for good.

coco I'm glad this was brought up. I want to be now refer as he. Coco, I don't think they "hate" anyone. That is such a strong word. It is just hard.
