Here's a challenge for all....research your family histories, look back at your ancestors...100s of years ago...most girls were married by age 14, some younger. It is society today that deems it wrong...but hundreds of years ago, this was considered normal. So, in a sense, you're the offspring of offspring of offspring from 'pedophelia' sex, no? Let's see. Second Life does not tolerate racism, nothing of the like but they do tolerate something that is actually in rl illegal. All other porn sites have to have age verification, SL dropped it and SL has tons of porn...not just avatar porn either.

What you are speaking of is the past. 100 years ago, do you think people were as aware of what we are now? We have these laws for a reason. We declared it wasn't right and it would be better to wait till the person's body and mentality were mature enough to make decisions on their own. Do you think women would also be better off living in the same ruling as of 100 years ago? Do you think they would want to be married off by age 15, have 7 kids by the age of 18, have no options of contraception, born and bred to be nothing more than just a baby making girl with a husband? Not only that, the physical risks of having all of those babies.

Sexual ageplay in this game is different. Most of the time, it's someone who plays a child, an infant someone definetly under 13. You can justify all you want but SL, based out of San Francisco is really starting to make me wonder if the reason why they don't care to do anything about is because maybe they think there's nothing wrong with it. There is. They choose to ban only one offensive content and that is a white racist. Sexism is allowed, having sex with animals, kids and who gets banned? One group even though in rl it's not illegal to be a racist. It's only illegal if you kill and the motive was racism.

All of you bitching about the thought police, there is a difference in saying and doing. If a person wears a nazi symbol, someone reports them, they are banned. Someone fucks a child avatar, they stay. Now you tell me freedom of expression again? That term can apply to everything and anything.

The fact of the MATTER is this. If SL doesn't shape up now, I guarantee you very soon, this game is going to get the reputation of being a game that has alot of porn, beastiality art, pedophilia.

If SL really cared about weeding out the kids and teens that are in this game, they wouldn't have promoted their game using MTV full of teen viewers and they would require age verification. Just because SL has dumbed down the process of signing up doesn't mean that their sales will boost because alot of teens have joined in what is supposed to be an adult game which IT IS. If SL thinks they are above all other games and have some high priority or special rights, they are wrong.

I guarentee you that any of these people that engage in sexual roleplay with a child avatar and the other way around are using it for real life arousal and probably are obsessed with children in that manner so they probably have tons of child porn.

I can't believe he goes on about freedom and anti-censorchip for all to be whatever they want but it's not entirely true because racists get banned and ageplayers that use it all the time for just sex with children do not.

For a moment, pretend you are, say, 14 years old and you snuck onto the main grid. You know that if you're caught, you're busted and banned. What shape do you take to not call attention to yourself. Do you play the game as a kid looking for sex if you want to not stand out in the crowd?

Keep in mind:
1. SL is an online ADULT game -> there should be no minors in the grid. If there really are, then that is an area in which LL can improve.
2. Those things mentioned are RP between Adults. Even if most would find it sick for Child-AV/Adult, there are other who'd consider the same for Furry-AV/Human-AV (bestiality anyone?); The question again: where would it end?
3. If you have a problem excepting 1 and 2, move on to another game without the freedom that SL gives. No sex/erotica, only human like forms, and definately no options for people to make their own things.
