I am a strong believer of the phrase, "Your freedom ends where others rights begin." (The words might be wrong, but I think everyone recognize the quote. I do not have english as a first language, mkay?)

I haven't heard about Gor until yesterday, so I can't tell if they only have the same amount of jerks as the rest of the population, or if they attracts more. But I have runned into a few Goreans yesterday, all of them minding their own business, and I wouldn't have known if they didn't had it as a group tag *Shrug*. All of the griefers I have runned into so far, have not been from any "special interrest group," and non of the avatars have had a newbie look (well, I still look newbish, might be why ;) )

If someone doesn't enjoy a playstyle anymore, and are griefed for leaving, then we have a situation to deal with. Then it doesn't matter if the person wanted to leave some slave-play or wanted to leave a house building business. Was the girl griefed when her friends didn't talk to her after she left? I don't know, I lack far to many details to have an opinion. But to much OOC communication can ruin an IC experience, and that continued contact could have ruined their game. Not saying that was the case, but a good example to show that there are more possibilities.

But I am very surprised of the amount of biggots that I have seen during my few days lurking on the forums (got all forms of strange threads by searching for "teleport";). If one doesn't want to see a bunch of pixels doing something with another bunch of pixels, and don't want to stay in PG areas, why not go together with a bunch of equally minded and set up your own area where it isn't allowed? They have no more right to say what should be allowed on your land, as you should have to say about their lands. On the rest of the mature grid, all parties will just have to learn to accept that the others are there as well.

To all Goreans, furries, D/S-players, in-game hookers, and everybody else, if you enjoy the game, just keep on doing it ;) and remember, the moral mayority isn't anything else than a vocal minority.

Anyone that would like to explain more of their in-game life and experiences to me, feel free to contact me, either here or in-game. I would love to learn more (no, really. I would love to get an opinion of all sides and aspects :) ).

P.S. Vera Vernon, if I ever would consider to hire your kind of services in the game, I hope I can afford yours (not that I think you are still reading this thread :p)

I Understand what I have seen with my time exploring those sims. Women are worthless. Women Are sex toys. Its ok to abuse those who are Female. Men Rule and can do what they wish when they Wish with any Female. Roleplay or Not in my line of work I see the victums of men who think like that. Don't get me wrong I think that Sl is a perfect place to explore that side of yourself. if some one can tell me what Gor is about Please post and let me know if I am wrong about Gor being about nothing more than the Rape Abuse and Domnation of women

Gor is a response to the total confusion in society created by feminism. It's a desperate attempt to create and build something from the ground up, where everything that previously was has been cleanly swept away.
Admittedly, it uses pretty crude sticks and stones, but that's only to be expected considered the circumstances.

To put it plainly, Gor is a post holocaust philosophy.

However, outside of the culture imposed off of a set of traditions in a fantasy world, and the philosophy coming from the author, it's exactly the same as D/s and you might even notice that in the more extreme sides of D/s they have lots of rules similar to gor.

Blimey, you are having a go at d/s as well, are you? You are really sounding more and more cranky over the whole issue, I have to say.

I found Carly's comments to exude common sense, tolerance and rationality, which yours seem less and less to do.

She described a large chunk of the male Gorean population. How did you pick just one guy out of that? :p

well, the vast majority of the Goreans that I know are good people, but there's this one guy.......I won't get into it, but he's a controlling, manipulative bastard, matter of fact, look up that phrase in the dictionary, there's his pic.

Just so we're clear, you're calling feminism a holocaust? Can you elaborate on that a little? I'd really love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance! :)

You do understand the difference between Gor, rape, and reality, right?

I've had the shit beaten out of me and I was raped, and I can assure you, I had no fucking off button there.

I'm tired of you idiots who can't distinguish between RL and fantasy.

Thank you for saying what needs to be said.

I agree this is the best example, we may not like ageplay or gorean, we may not enjoy your sick fantasies, BUT I will fight for yours any anyone elses right to ROLEPLAY anything they wish.

We live is a messed up world of priorities where in USA its okay to show a film of people being killed, guns are everywhere but showing a womans beautiful breasts or talking about the act of making love is a no no.

What kind of priorities do we have when roleplaying a killer in a game head shoting someone and killing people is pretty okay but exploring sexuality isn't??

And as for ageplay which seems to be another "evil" remember that fantasy you had about bending over a teachers desk and being punished for not bringing in your homework that is ageplay:)
