Interesting poll...

I am male in RL and SL.

To those who are worried their pixel-mixing with the same gender, and are afraid of "accidentally being gay" (hahahaha), perhaps you should consider that if you cyber with *anyone* on the internet... it's prolly some 45 year old guy in a basement somewhere telling his mom to get him some more mountain dew.

My AV is genderswitching, depending on my mood or who I'm with's preferences. So
basically, I'd vote for every single option, including herm if it were an option in the poll.
To make it sound as slutty as I am: "I can be anything you want me to, honey..."

And my RL gender is not something I'm going to tell here, so Nyah ^.^
(for the only reason that SL is a fantasy... who'd want to ruin a nice dream by bringing in reality anyways? I have someone I deeply love IRL, so anything in SL can't and won't go beyond SL... I make sure everyone who gets close enough knows that and is well aware of it.)

I think that today, after this post, I'm going to be a vixen again ^.^ gotta love SL and the ability to choose.

I think LL should have a sim where people are sent to, where there is carpeting on the walls, naugahyde chairs, Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, and everything is in earth tones.

I think my friends would be truly shocked if I didn't reply to this, so here goes:

I am a real life female.

In SL:

Human female (girly)
Human female (androgynous)
Human male (androgynous and femmy)
Human male (masculine)
Human herm
Furry female (on occasion) - Mouse, squirrel, horse, bat, kox, joguani
Furry herm (on occasion)

And a variety of female fantasy chars...drow, fairy, demons, etc. Male drow possibly in the future. Rawr!

I do state I actively gender bend in my 2nd Life profile, not that I really need to, with the name "Morrisa" hovering over my sexy male avie. I list it though, mainly because I like meeting others who do the same and it does lead to very interesting conversation. My first life profile states I am a natural female. I don't feel everyone who switches genders needs to do this, however. It's just how I prefer to do it.

As far as why I play males here (and herms)...while biologically female, I do consider myself to be a mix of both genders in real life. I've got a very curious mind and love to explore things from all angles, so I experiment with my gender here.

My friends are all aware of what I do (Oh no there she goes again! Mo's a boy!), strangers are aware of what I do (if they choose to read my profile), and I do not pretend to be a real life guy or anything like that. In fact, my goth male looks so feminine, most don't even know what the hell he is to begin with. Yes, I do love androgyny!

The avs I play the majority of the time are male. I've been a female here and elsewhere before. I've never intended to present to others that I personally was a woman.


I don't see a male/female av as indicative of a man/woman player any more than I see a fox av as a indicitive of a antro fox player. I personally have never cared. People are here what they are here.

Why does it matter so much to you? It really only matters if there is intent to have a face-to-face relationship. Since I have no intention of doing that with anyone on SL aside from the partner I already have, it's really no business of anyone elses what my physical gender is.

Having said that, I DO state in my profile in the FL section that I am transgendered.

Well some ppl are not comfortable unless they know the true gender.. you can not demand understanding without giving it..

I'm fundamentally opposed to having sex with fat bodies. And that goes for SL too. Luckily there are not many fat bodies in SL, and I don't give a damn what their bodies are like in RL.
