Do you think Hamlet's doing this to drum up attention to himself and his writings, now it's probably waned since he left the fold? I mean, I doubt he gets the exposure "in-world" he used to and, well, this seems like a good way to get people talking about himand his writings again.

Just saying, like :)

Probably - maybe we can do a top 10 list of reasons :P There may be more truth in this than you realise, you can probably put a link to NWN there with 'for more info on these 10 people' :P

With that kind of attitude there's no way you're going to be #1, even if everyone on the grid has a pair of your skates! :)

2 asides as well: how do you pronounce Moopf? I've always said it as one syllable but suppose it could be MOOP - F.

Second, did you know the boys on the South Park named their band, "MOOP"?

;)

I'm gonna 'splode if I don't get a peak at the rest of this most awesome list of the bestest of the best. The whole thing gives me the warm fuzzies....I think, that might be the rum I keep in my desk drawer that I've been nippin' on since 10 this morning.

What's worse, Hamlet's going to give himself the #1 spot.

Taco Rubio should be in there for he has in his possession

Actually Taco was quite influential and controversial at one point - though I know he tries hard to forget it ... ask him about his 'museum' one day :)

This is just my own opinionated list based on my own reporting, and I'm not claiming it's anything more than that.

Declarations of elitism and inviting the same, is divisive and does nothing to build community.

Shame on you Hamlet.

He wasn't the first to do that, he was just the first to make a museum out of it :)

In that respect, Taco should get full credit for the plaid speedos that now come as standard equipment under prim skirts. There's a culture change for you.

haha, I'd laugh my socks off if I appeared on that list and flame him myself for being ridiculous. :)

As for Moopf - silent p. Think of moo with an f on the end :D

It's funny you should mention Moop being somewhere. I was driving through a town (I forget where, might have been Chesterfield) about 6 months ago and there was a shop called Moop there. I did a double take at that :)

Meh, he's a journo so it woudn't suprise me in the least. Best way to drum up interest is to be controversial and divisive. This is both, in bundles :)

Yes.

And I know of at least a couple of instructors at TeaZers that I think would recognice you Siggy :)

Kyushu

haha maybe one or two - probably the few I gave unholy hell on before I fixed their scripts and tipped them 1k for putting up with me.

Now rez a cyl.... no thats a tube.. no thats a torus... no prism's not even close... ah.. no thats a plant.

The point I was making to my friends was no matter how hot shit you think you are - or your circle of friends thinks you are, as the world grows more and more people are gonna say 'huh? who?'.

In world I dare say my wife is known more than I am.

Ah, but it's not anymore, it's an argument between running the same OS on really expensive hardware or cheap as chips hardware ;) (tongue firmly in cheek, don't worry)

Mind you in the Mac world you can now get the best of both: The value-for-money of a Mac and the stability of Windows, all rolled into one neat package :) Progress I tells ya!
