From: Jig Chippewa Of course you are allowed but it can be so defeating unless your husband is f**king extraordinary. Before you get too annoyed I wonder if this may be a generational thing? I mean maybe you are older than me? If so I think you may have met a different generation of men when you were casting around for a mate. I know we may be off topic but men MY age are so arrogant and self-absorbed. Many I meet have really been indulged and consider themselves God's gift. Truly into the "male-pysche" whereas men of teh 70s and even 80s might have been different coz they were aware of feminism. Young men today sneer at it or reject it as simply "lesbian fury". Even take a look at comments posted in forums by males. Some of them arent joking. I must add that yesterday I invited a young man to see my gallery/home since he was flying around my ground level. And first thing he did was pull out his penis and piss against teh wall on a painting. Charming. And not unlike reality. With this comment Jig, you seem to speak from both sides of your mouth. "It is allowed but should not be done" is the message I am seeing. We should be able to fit into whatever place in society that we wish and makes us happiest. Not everyone can or should be fighting the good fight. There should be opportunities available for everyone and yes it has to be acknowledged those rights and opportunities are and were hard won. However, sometimes I think we risk forsaking our all that makes us women in the race to compete with men and fight for those rights, we can become too much like them in my opinion. We are not the same and our differences should be celebrated, not downplayed and shoved to one side. In all things of this type there is a place for those who are at the front line but there are also a variety of places for those who do not choose that path and we can show our dissatisfaction with being treated as a lower class of people by the opposite sex in many small ways that still allow us to be the nurturers we wish to be, if that is what we wish. I don't think this is a generational issue at all, most of my friends are around the same age (-ish) as me and there is a broad spread of opinion about this from them.

From: Cappy Frantisek DON'T DO IT! End of story! Oh, okay. Once upon a time, my daughter had to do a book report. She wrote "This book is stupid!" at the top of the page and shouted, "Done!" I paused for a moment, then said, "Okay... you can say that, but you have to explain why." I've seen some of your other posts, and this one kind of epitomizes the ones I've seen: I guess you think that any emotional involvement in SL is silly. Am I right? If it's so, I find it very puzzling because it looks like you've been in SL for a couple of years. What in the world do you do in SL? Hasn't it ever made you laugh or cry or angry or sad?

From: Jig Chippewa Stop it! Buy yourself something expensive. The kid looks liek it needs a bath. Probably has lice or a tapeworm. I actually DID have a tapeworm when I was a kid so I know these things. Kids smell and fail at school. Like I said earlier, there is no logic to hating child avatars unless you hate children, or fear sexual ageplay. Case closed.

You have to realize that she is teasing me while she makes her points. She says with a nervous tic.
