Sounds like people are getting lovely parcels if a bit later than they'd ideally hoped - so congrats and best luck to the others.

I also wish everyone waiting good luck. Now comes the rebuilding of both the physical structures and the customer base. I decided to start a new group and basically a new business. I know this sounds really, really dumb, but it was sort of fun and exciting doing it the first time, so I’ve taken this opportunity to experience it all again. When I told my husband what I intended to do he just sort of looked at me like I was from Mars.... LOL

I have reopened the ticket.. the responce was what seems to be their normal form letter.

best guess is my shop is a log cabin... they popped in and saw what looks to be a house and left... or they did not look closely at what the tattoos I make say. (and ignored all the sex balls and etc..)

Hope you get it cleared up, this might help, it's from:

10:12 ticket 4051-6484485 WIP, pending the other tickets open at the time, they combined my two tickets together since they had to be looked at as one, but seperated in information on them. Looking good for nice choices

Now I am happy :)

Words of warning

If you have adult content down do not pick it up off the land (or sim) until LL reviews your land. We picked everything up, most all of the landscaping plants across the sim including rivers & water falls with adult poses, which I too sell, the store sex beds picked up the store, the sex beds & pose balls from all the homes, as well most of the homes were/are picked up, remaining as bare min. across the sim to be ready for a move due to all of our adult content. My art work (nudes) are photo real as well and yes I had even pulled up the studio. Of course when LL reviewed such tonight all adult content was picked up & in inventory so we could be ready to move & get on with business which has been in limbo. I have a venue, some artist sing songs with adult content which I am not going to censor what a artist sings or what they or the party goers at my venue say. They came back with the sim did not contain adult content so the ticket was closed. Well of course there was none when they looked for we had already packed it all up to move as well stopped booking in the venue to be ready. So I have reopened the ticket explaining all adult content had been removed last week to be ready to move. So DO NOT pick up any of your adult content until they review your business(s) activities on your land.

Hi
07-12-2009 03:24
Also
after your ticket closes, just leave it all till you are ready to move in, because there are people out there that will go look at your land and then tell everyone you are not Adlult content, because you moved it, lol, you just cant win.
Good luck with repening your ticket.

Trella is right and it's important to know it, DON'T REMOVE your adult content before you get your ticket answered or you might see your swap refused !

[15:57] Blondin Linden: [15:48] Renzo Goodliffe: You raised a good point, Story, people need to keep their adult content on mainland until their ticket is handled ANSWER: YES! If you remove it, and a linden comes by to take a look but dones't see anything, they may be turned down. Residents should sbumit their ticket and cary on as normal until their ticket gets a response

We've been over this with Blondin and others several times over the last few months. My understanding, and I'm open to correction here, is that skins and shapes shops are OK on Mature land. The restriction on "photorealistic nudity" -- "photo-realistic means that an image either is or cannot be distinguished from a photograph" according to https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=6010 -- seems to be aimed at pictures and posters rather than adverts for skins, and we have had repeated assurances from Blondin that "non-sexual nudity", nude beaches and the like, are OK on Mature land so long as there are no pose balls involved.

So it seems utterly illogical -- not, I grant you, that logic is much of a guide in this whole debacle -- to say I can wander round a nude beach in a Mature area showing off my nice new skin, but that a vendor displaying pictures of a model wearing nothing but that same skin can only be placed in Adult areas.

My understanding is that, if you can sensibly advertise your skins without running up against the list of banned words, you should be OK.

Hi the shop has photos of the shapes naked , mena and woman, and one of our group has heard that it is okay to leave in a mature place but can move it to, but I am assuming that does not get allocated space?

If you are in doubt, file a move request, and let LL determine when they come to inspect your location and content. Be sure to document the outcome if they say you don't have to move.

LL was quite firm (for them anyway ;) ) that skin shops could stay on the mainland - yet they're obviously offering swaps to them as I've just had one move in behind me.

Why would you like to move to Zindra with Skins and Shapes ? In my opinion, you might have better sales on the mainland, because you will not restrict your store to adult verified customers only. The mainland might be the better choice for your business.

I think it is more about wehn you have a group of shops and a majority have closed to move to adult regions or will be, is how the existing shops survive on their own, I dont know really, it is a bit messy

The whole thing is more than "a bit" messy!

Who wants to make the move? If the land is group owned, and some of the shops on it sell adult stuff and others don't, my understanding is that you can request a swop for the whole lot.

In fact, one of the first moves to be approved -- Xia Nishi's BDSM club and mall at Cloudville -- is an excellent example of just that... there are plenty of stores in the mall that sell stuff like clothes and shoes which, while of great interest to patrons of a BDSM club, could not be described as "adult content" in their own right.

Though I guess in this example the main business -- the BDSM club -- clearly qualifies. Quite how it works if you are simply a mall, which includes some shops with adult content, I am not sure. On my reading of the rules, you should qualify, but I'm not the one who decides.

I think Gavin's advice is best... if in doubt, ask to move and see what happens.

Just got my new land. :) Transaction was excellent and LL was very nice and friendly. All the wait and frustration came to an end with a few clicks. The transaction was handled by LL much better than I expected. They deserve some credit now - I am very happy :)
My ticket was from 10:13 and they should be around #4510 to #4520 (just my guess, not for sure !).

I should hope that the Lindens did handle the move smoothly and yes the lindens on the whole are good as that is what they get paid for, but LL will not get any credit from me that's for sure as this is all a mess that they have caused and at no point did LL listen to the better alternatives that have been offered, so I am not thanking them for moving my business and causing me and many others to lose financially in all of the mess.

I am amazed at the time it is taking in expediting this whole mess when we have been told that lindens will be working on it 24/7 and on tracking the tickets on slapt.me wiki its amazing at how slow a speed this all is happening at and that's not including the time they took off from processing the tickets, all this should have been planned weeks/months ago when they knew they would be doing it.
