I couldn't get even remotely intimate with any woman who reminded me of my mom. The bottom line to this whole conversation is that a lot of SL is fantasy. Women are sexual beings, just like men, and if they choose to express that in SL or find it empowering to do so, then good for them. Sex is part of life - part of being human, and it is safe to express that part of oneself in SL, because there aren't the same concerns about real life abuse or rape. Even non-consensual RP is consensual. Why can't we just leave people be and let them do whatever makes them happy without trying to figure out whether it makes them good or bad people? _____________________

You make a great point though, since my "classy" outfits might be considered "slutty" by some people. A) Slutty cut-off - yes, mine would go passed the cut-off; or would have before new rules B) Classy - ah, yes, my very lovely classic/classy dress does show cleavage. Theres a lot of people who have horrible senses of human proportions. And others who want to look like exagerated cartoons. I dont think body shape makes someone look slutty but I can see why people in Second Life would equate the two. I think this is a very important point. As you have commented one cannot judge the Rl sex of someone simply by the amount they slide the SL silicon enhancement slider to the right. While I personally think this is pandering to the cosmetic surgery industry/porn industry "ideal" image of a slim woman with large breasts, I accept that as a look it is very popular for women in RL and SL. What I think is much more disturbing is the people who show no lack of proportions in their AV. Big hips and a wasp waist are a combination I find quite disturbing. Maximum length legs on a short or average body is another. It would be interesting to find out if the RL people behind these distorted AVs tend to be more of one sex. My theory is that you would find that a higher % were male. _____________________
