So... a certain someone (I'm not going to name names, but her initials are 3R B) got me hooked on the show 24. I watched the first 4 episodes that aired last night and the night before and i am wondering what people who have been watching the show for awhile thought about them.

I still like 24 after all these years. In many ways, it is past its prime with respect to Jack being the archetype of the post 9/11 Bush years of just get it done at all costs with little respect to legal niceties. The storyline has evolved into the psychological impact of his past, although there still is lots of awesome gratuitous violence. I hope Chloe has a bigger role than she did last season as she's one of my favourite characters on the show and the Rene storyline seems like it will be interesting. The last scene of last night's premiere was great .. I actually yelled out OMG and then started laughing hysterically.

This guy goes to see his new Doctor.
She turns out to be absolutely gorgeous.

She looks at him and says, "You really need to stop masturbating."
The young man looks confused and says, "Why is it bad for my health? Does it cause heart disease?"

She replies, "No, but it's making the examination kind of difficult."

I've just agreed to go out tonight. I have a 10am lecture tomorrow. I *may* regret it...
Oh well.
Josh, great .gif! Not cure the creepy look suits you though lol.

Scylla, I always though Rachel McAdams was really good! That was part of the reason I want to see it (the rest is somethig to do with Downey Jr and Jude Law :p )
If you ignore that it was based on a classic, and just took it as an action film, was it good?

I used to like 24. I was too late for it on tv, so I watched the vids my mum had. I liked them, but ren out of vids and was too far behind on the ones on tv so never caught up.

Aww! How could you tell?

We're still a ways off, though.

It's snowing here in Boston. It's pretty.

In a little while I'm going to vote. We've been voting a lot lately, it's like a fad.

This one is for senator, to fill the seat vacated by Ted Kennedy's death.

And like most elections in the US lately, it's expected to be very close.

If Martha Coakley or any of her damn friends call me one more time,I am going to scream. I just recently changed my phone number and had to sign up for the do not call list because of all the telemarketing and political calls I have been getting.

Unfortunately, it takes about 30 days to stop the calls. I have gotten calls, from President Obama and even Bill Clinton endorsing her.(Pre recorded messages of course) I am not voting today and even if I was,I would purposely not vote for her sheerly because of these phone calls. I can honestly say, without exaggeration that her campaign has called about 10 times in the last week.

I'm not sure but I thought political organizations were exempt from the do not call registry in the US.
