Lula, I love this pic of you and the pic on the wall. :) Gorgeous.

Oh yes. That is her best yet. She was made to wear that dress. :)

Two words: Norv Turner. He is one of two coaches who Vegas oddsmakers factor into point spreads, giving the opposing team points if he is on the other sideline.
Yeah, from what I've heard that sounds right, Trent.

*waves to the Threadies*

Y'all have been busy! Sorry I've not been here much in the past few days. Mom came home from the rehab center (did I tell you that already??); she and Dad are settled back in at their place, and everything's moving along nicely - and Dad's getting some rest, too! :)

We're taking it one day at a time. :)
Good news Mo. I hope you are getting enough rest, too. I'm not surprised you have good taste in music as in everything else.

This song never fails to make me tap my toes. :)
I played this album over and over when it first came out and danced all over the house every time I heard this song. In fact I remember jumping up and dancing with other people on several occasions when it was played.

Glad to hear your folks are doing well Mo! Did your Mom get both hips done? I wish her a speedy and uneventful recovery. Hopefully she'll be able to do this soon :)

Ooh watching that was fun, Josh.

Thank you!

Here, let me make it up to you with something a little better:

I like this, Milla.

Well, I have to say I was rooting for the Chargers, but in truth, I'm very happy the Jets won. They owned that game yesterday.
It's good to be able to enjoy the outcome whoever wins. (Cause only one team will win the Super Bowl per year.) That's one of the things I like about cycling.

From: Brenda Connolly
The Raiders were mathematically eliminated after week 1........ :p

I'm also rooting for Mr Brees and the Saints. After what Brett Favre do to us last year, I'd like to see him knocked off on Sunday...although getting the chance to beat him in the big game would be nice too.

As far as the Eddie show goes...it was brilliant! It was basically History of the World according to Eddie. He took his usual detours and tangents but he was dead on the whole night. he did 2 sets, about 2 and a half hours total. He has ditched the glam for now working strictly in guy mode. He said he'll bring it back probably, once everyone gets used to him this way. The place was sold out and it was a very Eddie centric crowd. The show was recorded, I imagine for HBO or a DVD. It was well worth the price.
It sounds great. Glad you had a good time.

BTW, that pic was taken at Ceera's Rutgers University build which really is awesome. I drove by the campus last week, and it is amazing how much she captured.

oh, nice boots! :)

You look perfectly attired for your surroundings. :)
The only shoes I own, at least as me. The supermodel alt is the one who lives to shop and shops to live. :)

Although I'm not much of a clotheshorse, I did have fun shopping for a nice winter outfit back in 2008 when I took that pic. I'm thinking of picking up another one, based around those cool boots Mari was wearing at the snowball fight.

(Mari's pic, of course... she does rock the photography!)

I was thinking of a nice bulky big-brother sweater, the kind of thing that's two sizes too big. Something perfect for snuggling up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa. :)

What's that black thing? You usually don't do 'burnt' so am surprised to see it there. :p
Based on the little Scottish teddybears, I'd guess it's either blood sausage or haggis. Bon appetit!

My guess is black pudding or similar
/me goes off to google that...

ETA: Same thing as blood sausage...

... unless you play D&D, in which case:

From: someone
In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the black pudding is fictional creature of the ooze family. It resembles a bubbling, heaped pile of thick, black, pudding-like goo, roughly fifteen feet across and two feet thick.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world.
Those that understand binary and those that don't.

Yes! I especially like it that it's taken from a lower angle than some of you pics.

It was pretty much the only decent angle with the pose. Moving the camera is excruciating for me on this machine. Even with a non WL viewer with the settings turned up, lag is horrific. It can take forever to set up a picture.

How many NFL teams have made it to the playoffs every year since Norv Turner took over the Chargers?

I myself long for a better computer... Sometimes I use the G-5 my husband uses for professional video editing but that doesn't render SL much better than my old pc. It seems as if it should.
