I myself long for a better computer... Sometimes I use the G-5 my husband uses for professional video editing but that doesn't render SL much better than my old pc. It seems as if it should.

I have a new one in the plan for FY '10. I had it penciled in for this month, but my Florida bills are coming in, so it will have to wait a bit longer. It's 6 years old come April, the sound card is gone and the video card sometimes just tells me to piss off, but I'm squeezing every day out of it I can.

I nursed my old computer along for quite awhile. I never realized how bad the old one had gotten until I finally got a new one.

Continuing the parade of pic reposts, and since it is the middle of winter, I present Wasted Away Again in Margaritaville.

Computer prices in general have been down the last few months - laptops, desktops, notebooks, pretty much all setups. However, component prices are starting to rise and that means that probably by late spring computer prices will start going up to reflect the new cost of the innerds. Therefore, my advice for best purchasing power is not to delay much past 1st quarter of the year.

It will be a tight squeeze. I also have my August vacation to start budgeting for as well as some new kitchen appliances I have my eye on.. Maybe I can nurse it until next Christmas and get Santa Claus in on it..or if the Jets make it to the Super Bowl, get a bet placed out in Vegas.

Looks like Jimmy Buffet had your number. Seriously, I remember this pic. Windy, dark, and rainy here today so this bikini spot is looking good to me. Although the rain is still a bit of a treat to me.

This is a bit too pathetic -- I just received this in a store group notice:

"We now have Sculpted Tears with Teardrops these are amazing Hud Driven tears you can match your masacra or make up, cry with real emotion and more"

Just got home from seeing Sherlock Holmes. Anyone else seen it yet. From the TV ads I've seen over and over again I wasn't that impressed, however the movie itself very enjoyable.

Its on my list of 'films I really want to see but will probably never get around to doing so'. My sister saw it and she told me its not worth it, but I like the actors, and I think it looks good.

I would have to say it's not the way I picture Sherlock Holmes in my head. However once I got past that I really enjoyed it. The plot left an obvious tie-in to a possible sequel so I expect we will see these characters again.

Yes, it's not bad . . . but it's NOT Sherlock Holmes, really. Robert Downey was good, though, and I thought Jude Law made a reasonably credible Watson. The villain, however, was meh; they should have gone with Gary Oldman or someone like that. And what's-her-face as Irene Adler just plain sucked: I've seen planks of wood act better.

Oh, and it's much too violent.

Hello sweet thread!

Thank you all for your compliments on my photo. I enjoyed working on it as photoshopping is my hobby. I am always impressed by those of you (Brenda... Lil... Claire... Ava... Mari... Mo... and YOU! You know who I mean!) who can take a great pic inworld without retouching it.

I sincerely enjoy all the photos posted and appreciate them all! Please keep them coming. We will hit 100k sooner!
