The standard of sex shops has improved since then probably. The first two places I visited were "Wilder Linden's House" and "The Science Centre on Info Island II". This because they were the first two in a list given out on Help Island. My reaction to both was slightly WTF, but I stayed on, despite having Mirimar Plaza as my initial Home. ![]() Then the Knowledge Port in Maryport Then the Mauve sandbox Then a private sandbox The rest is hysteria. ROFL yeah the quality has came along leaps and bounds. Originally I thought that all SL users were the Zindra type. It might be fun at times ![]() _____________________

been there done that one too. by far the ugliest damage and most dangerous (electrically speaking). Yep. Fortunately the breakers blow 97% of the time. When they don't look out! I've been zapped on numerous occasions. Other dangers include the water undermining of the footings and partial collapse of the dwelling, I've seen that only two times in my career. The absolute worst is when the freezing occurs when people are away and you have several freeze thaw cycles. On five separate occasions I witnessed that damage... ![]() ![]() ![]() _____________________

Rhonda, that's a cute outfit. were you fishing for the pieces to complete an ensemble? Yes I was. You can see the turtleneck collar in the pic, the rest of the sweater is on a shirt layer. Everything I am wearing except for hair and the fishing pole is part of the outfit. Ears, shoes, jacket, cropped tank, the whole bit. Also not seen, there are some fuzzy cuffs that can be worn in place of the bangles and they have a matching fuzzy collar for the jacket. _____________________

Dear Precious Internet Friends:
I found this great video showing Korean kids singing a song about netiquette. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/story/2009/03/life-on-the-digital-frontier.html The accompanying PBS series on the digital frontier is also quite interesting: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/digitalnation/extras/digital_native.html /me sings neti ... neti ... neti ... /me runs away laughing ![]() _____________________

Dear Precious Internet Friends: The accompanying PBS series on the digital frontier is also quite interesting: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/digitalnation/extras/digital_native.html /me sings neti ... neti ... neti ... Contemporary research shows that the brain remains plastic, or changeable, over an entire lifetime. And Gary Small, a neuroscientist, says the digital revolution is causing our brains to change faster than was ever imagined. In a study he conducted of people aged 55 to 76, those using the Internet regularly showed twice as much signaling in brain regions responsible for decision making and complex reasoning than those with less exposure to the Internet. On the other hand, Small says, the neural circuits that control the more traditional learning methods -- those that engage memory in the learning process, taking things step by step and addressing one task at a time -- are neglected and gradually diminish. WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN? Some researchers hypothesize that what teens do or don't do during the brain's growth periods can affect them for the rest of their lives. Scientists now know that our brains undergo a period just before puberty (11 in girls, 12 in boys) of overproducing synapses, especially in the frontal cortex, and then a pruning back in adolescence. Small says the structural and functional effects of new technology on a young brain are profound. Very interesting. TY Josh /me sings neti... neti... neti... off key along with Josh _____________________

After seeing Rafe's newbie pic and seeing your post, I'm thinking everyone could post the oldest pic they have of their avatar. ![]() BTW, to get the image size you want on Flickr, go to "All Sizes", choose the size you want and then below it is the URL in a box; alternatively, you can right click on the pic and select "view image" to get the URL. |

Oh right on, thanks. And thanks! Vegetal Planet is amazing. That's a handy tip. A while back, something changed in Flickr so that although I could right-click / Properties on the smaller version, I wasn't getting the Properties option on the bigger version. That was in my usual Mozilla. I had to use IE to get the Properties, and that made me feel dirty ![]() _____________________
