to be fair, a person who wishes ill upon another is dark inside, even if only at that moment. i will never allow myself to be dark inside. never. if i have that sense, i shoo it away immediately. but that doesn't stop me from saying things like "that sort of death is too slow for the likes of you". doesn't mean i'm wishing death, just making jokes. the reader will take that any way they choose. i cannot decide for them. i can only decide for myself the intent, and meaning. and furthermore, i will not explain it. it is mine and i don't choose to go that deep into anything i say in jest. that doesn't mean you should strive to "lighten up" or that i should now become more deep like you. you are who you are, and you handle things the way you do. that's it. it's you. and i am me. i am lucky to be able to brush off things, and get over things rather quickly, and not take things personally... but that comes from YEARS of disappointment, rejection, abandonment and began in my early years... my poor childhood upbringing. i learned to survive. and now i am here, and this is it. i don't think that's anything you should want for yourself. *hugs*

The common denominator is that it's a fucking internet game forum. It's not the General Assembly of the United Nations. Lighten up, or failing that, look inside yourself and say "I've had enough. I'm better than this and won't allow myself to sink any deeper into this mess." Then STFU and move on. No more "No, YOU!" No more "I know you are but what am I?" No more last word. You can only control yourself. If the others can't let it go, that's their problem. At least you won't be contributing to it any more.

/me decides to share his top secret molten lava cake recipe. I originally got this from Bon Appétit magazine I think. If you don't have powdered sugar, I've substituted with granulated sugar but just used a bit less. I also butter and flour my ramekins for easy removal (or serve them in the ramekin) and use a bain marie just cuz my oven has hot spots. It's a really easy dessert to make ahead of time and to pop in the oven as you're clearing the table, so that you can serve them warm. Do watch the time though as you don't want to over bake them and ruin the oozy goodness.



Molten Lava Cakes

* 5 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate, chopped
* 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 3 large eggs
* 3 large egg yolks
* 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
* 1/2 cup all purpose flour
* pinch of salt
* Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 450°F. Butter six 3/4-cup soufflé dishes or custard cups. Stir chocolate and butter in heavy medium saucepan over low heat until melted. Cool slightly. Whisk eggs and egg yolks in large bowl to blend. Whisk in sugar and salt, then chocolate mixture and flour. Pour batter into dishes, dividing equally. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover; chill.)

Bake cakes until sides are set but center remains soft and runny, about 11 minutes or up to 14 minutes for batter that was refrigerated. Run small knife around cakes to loosen. Immediately turn cakes out onto plates. Serve with ice cream.
