Oooh I dunno. All that coarse hair might make them all red and puffy. Don't want that. :-)

Much rather have something smoother between them. Something with bits you can tickle and pull about. Like ears. *blushes* :-D

LOL!!!!

Nope, you don't know me but I know you; all too common and found in every forum. Tedious.
How paradoxical; all that claimed experience and you *still* can't find the ignore button.

You have it all wrong, Lil.

Pep (You - and Chris - are responsible for the Forum Cartel; you actually have some power; and responsibility of course.)
Yes, I know - I was being a smart-ass, dear.

PS Re last night: I never take forum business inworld; if Brann can't take gentle teasing from me - why should she be special? - then she should avoid group chat. Or you could throw me out of the Group if you really think I was behaving inappropriately.
Even if you don't take forum stuff inworld, many others are going to still perceive you in the same light there as they do here - and that very likely might color the way they hear any comments from you. I did not see the comment the same as she did, but she basically requested you to not talk to her. Regardless of the reason and whether it seems justified or not, if someone requests such in group chat, you need to honor it.

Don't be ridiculous. They have been provoked into talking compassionately about a serious subject by my entirely reasonable highlighting and rejection of your manic foulmouthed posts on the matter.

Pep (You are despicable and contemptible.)

Can you run that by me again? I should not post in group chat if there is a chance that someone that is hyper-sensitive might be listening and take exception to what I say? The principle, evinced by Chris repeatedly, is that you don't take Forum matters inworld; that applies to everyone else as well as me, doesn't it?

Pep (All she, and anyone else, has to do is put me on ignore.)

Can I make a request here? Well, a couple of requests.

Pep: could you please let this go. I know what was said to you as awful but continuing this is really serving no purpose other than to ruin what could be really nice threads. You can, of course, argue that you are trying to run this particular poster out of the forum and thus possibly preventing a similar thing being said to someone perhaps more sensitive . But I don't think you'll succeed. I think you'll just stir up further bad feeling.

Rhonda: why not put Pep on ignore and just not respond in any way? Let him carry on with his thing. You carry on with yours. Perhaps that way he'll get bored with it after a while.

I am no-one's 'acolyte' as you know. I am on no-one's side here. These are simply polite requests that - at the very least - I would ask you to think about.

Some very moving posts here by the way. Thank you.

I have a rl tie in the same pattern and colours ...
This is actually a good thing, because those wild patterns of the 60s and 70s are coming back in style. You'll be able to wear the tie again without being laughed at.

I have done lots of things in my life that people told me I couldn't . . .

Pep ( . . . and failed gloriously with a clear conscience trying to achieve lots of other things I have felt worthwhile.)

You do mean laughed at for wearing an out of date tie, correct? There are plenty of other reasons to laugh at Pep.

Edinburgh have described their new neon kit for the 1872 Cup games as "the brightest and loudest jersey in the history of Scottish rugby".

"I think it's great that we have put a strip out there that will get us noticed," said Nick De Luca."It's a memorable jersey."

Well, YMMV as far as a sense of humour goes.

Pep (For example, 3Ring thinks scat is amusing.)

I saw the comment made in group chat and I believe it was meant as an insult to Brann. Why would Brann expect anything else? Pep insults her repeatedly on the forums, then she asks for help on group chat and suddenly he's mister nice guy and genuinely trying to be helpful? She told Pep twice to leave her alone and he wouldn't until Lil stepped in.
What happens in the forums stays in the forums. That means don't antagonize people in-world. If Pep wants to treat people like he does in the forums then he needs to take responsibility for his actions and leave them alone in world. Otherwise he should leave the Cartel and also risk being ARed by people that want to enjoy their time in SL and not be trolled.

No, you can post in group chat. What I was saying was, after she requested you to not speak to her, you should not direct any more comments at her. You actually handled most of the comments very well, but it is a matter of courtesy to not speak to someone if they request you not to -- and that has nothing to do with anything here on the forums.
