Both of which were both filled with old ladies. (Nothing against old ladies, but wait). So I'm driving home and stop at a fast food joint for a quick snack. The guy behind the counter rings it up and the cash register says $4:10. I look down to count my money and hes says $3.56.  So of course I'm confused. I'm looking at the receipt trying to figure it out when at the bottom I see "Senior Discount". I wasn't sure if I should thank him or flip him off. I guess today I must look as bad as I feel.   Just consider yourself "economically stimulated".

I just signed up at SLU. (Sorry, 3Ring!) I figured if I could give SL Answers a shot, I could give SLU a shot too.
It is intimidating. I can't find my way around yet, but I might as well get used to it. It's probably the most viable forum after this one closes.
I just read too where Blue gave up on the "design the forum" thread. Poor guy! I thought it was nice of him to come and try to talk with the people he chose to talk with, but he picked a thankless task for himself. If he had thought about it, there wasn't really any way he could reassure us or work things out. If the decisions are all made but won't be explained... the poor guy out in front gets all the eggs and rotten fruit. And he stepped out in front.
At least some of you got bears out of it - you shameless bear-askers, you!

I signed up at SLU when they mucked with these forums before. Posted a few times. Now I don't remember my password. Maybe I will find out. When I was there before there we lots of people acting like school kids who had just been let out for the summer and felt totatlly free. Not a pretty sight. I might go and see if it has gotten any better or worse.

Dont get me wrong, I like SLU. I like most of the people there. But I am a bit of a bitch and a place like that could only make me worse just because I can be.I have been on many message boards and they seem to bring out the worst in me,especially with little moderation. Anyway, I lost my cell phone. I call it,some guy answers and hangs up. I call back, he says hello. I say hi,um you have my phone,can I have it back? And he hangs up on me.:/ It's canceled now and I have to buy a new one. People suck. |
