Watch this! If I make my eyes big and sad enough and try to look really small and mistreated, I can get some of that quiche (or omelet or whatever).  Works every time.Today my keyboard guy is staying home from work with the plague or some such. Shouldn't have spent the weekend at a convention in hot crowded rooms with strangers from all over the country. But at least I'll get to follow the thread when he's not sleeping off a fever. Oh no! Poor little puppy...there, there you little wuppy thing you...pat,pat, cuddle, scratch.. /me steals a iece of yummy eggs stuff and feeds little puppy... As for KB guy - Oh dear...so sorry!  FTR Ramen noodles actually are pretty gross when you are sick. And I love Ramen noodles.Good old fashion home cooked chicken soup is the best. Which I am actually making today Weston,so you are in luck. _____________________

I got a nice message from Blue last night, he gave me a full size version of his cap and flying jacket.
He really was a bit stung by that thread, he did feel his motives were being questioned a bit too much. I apologized to him, I came down on him a bit hard myself, but I tried to assure him that all anger was directed at LL as an entity, not at any Linden personally. He really seems to be a nice guy, wants to make the best out of the situation for everyone. He really seemed to appreciare what Oryx and the others did at the last meeting, I thanked him for acknowledging it publically.I did tell him to try to understand why everyone is so angry and frustrated and are lashing out, perhaps even hysterically. by reinforcing what I said the the new forum thread: Whining unbecomes you, Blue. Yes, a lot of people ARE frustrated and venting, and you are catching it, unfortunately. But for almost three years they have kept this community going, for better or worse, and every time they asked for help, they were either ignored, lied to, or told of plans that were never amounted to anything. They,are tired of it. A lot of us don't trust LL as far as we could throw a prim, what have you shown us to prove otherwise? These Residents, as you chose to call them, are your CUSTOMERS. Many pay a lot of money to use your service. They are going to complain when things they don't like happen. It sometimes will get nasty, but are LL that thin skinned, that they go fetal in a corner everytime something critical is said? They need to get their heads out of the TAO and that stupid Love Machine and see what is going on in their world, their product, and see what their customers are complaining about.This forum has been one way to do that, but it seems no one out there wants to come out and have a look. Anyway, since I can't make the office hour I gave him my concerns: The in owrld banning coupled with detached 3rd party mods is dangerous in my opinion, an there has to be a General Discussion/Social area. I still don't trust LL one bit on the whole, but I will put what faith I have in Blue, to at least get them to listen to our needs. _____________________

Rio - Ramen noodles have seen me thru much evil in the world...and many a bad choice - add cilantro and hot peppers and a beaten egg - cures most bouts of nasal allergies and does wonders for hang overs! Re Blue- Brenda tell him to come here- even if under a different persona - i think this thread- at least for us - embodies what will be missed the most. I enjoy the questions and answers although frankly lately its just an agenda strewn mine field out there. OK - poof! _____________________

it's 'just' a forum, but it is our link to solving issues and a link to EACH OTHER, so it is important to many of us. thank you for being a rational voice on our behalf. I got a nice message from Blue last night, he gave me a full size version of his cap and flying jacket. I've tried in that thread to not address him directly or even name him. I've deleted so many posts from that thread that were just too angry. Not to always drag my mother into things, but, she does this thing where if I am frustrated or angry she won't listen to me. In her mind, whatever I say is just the anger talking and she discards it. I wonder if Blue is that way too. . _____________________
