Since it is practically in my backyard, I figure why not? Nimoy is the kicker, although it is a great lineup. I really would like to meet him and Shat just once, and they both aren't getting any younger.

As far as dressing up, I think I'll pass at least this time.
Gene's wife was the main speaker at the one I went to here in Denver. And she really is a hoot.

we talked about doing that, but realised it wasnt really what the cartel was all about. cartel was all-inclusive. of and for the people of the sl forums. having its own board really went against this.

now of course i realise that things are different now, and ll are threatening these forums. i really do understand the motivation behind cartel-branded forums is an act of preserving the cartel. but it still seems... off to me.


I understand your point. I do think that if LL makes our forum presence untenable, we have seen the end of the cartel as it exists today. Hopefully it will become something equally as good or better, but it will be different.
