There is an interesting discussion on turning the hangout into an infohub there. Something which probably could not be discussed here without someone shouting "Clique!" But regardless, a separate forum doesn't seem quite as at odds for dealing with Cartel "business".

I definitely do like it for those type of discussions because we could not post those questions on this forum. We have gotten hell the few time we have posted Cartel specific questions/info out on the main forums here.

Of course, now if anyone wants to debate that particular issue, they need to sign up to the forum, regardless of whether they have a philosophical problem with its existence.

I just had a long, almost 2 hour chat with Blue. After apologizing for stomping on him, we talked a lot about His Project as he cals it. I can only go by what I feel, but to me he does mean that, he has taken personal ownership of it beyond a mrer job assignment, and I think he at least is interested in our thoughts and will represent them fairly. He said he understood the need for an Off Topic space, what it means to community building, and promised to stress that. we also talked about the Forum/In World ban idea, and he is interested in hearing thoughts on that as well.. along with small talk, I also unloaded on some of my personal feeling on SL and LL in general, Ursula, and invited him here and to the hangout to see what this community did beyond the forum.

I guess he picked me because I'm the resident Big Mouth, but it really was a nice chat and I came away with some good feelings. I guess we can only wait and see, but I promised not to be such a negative Nancy for the time being.
