I love that scene when Kirk is questioning Scotty. The look of dejection on his face when he learns Scotty fought to defend not his honor but that of Enterprise is priceless.

you can't just hold one piece of a puzzle and say it has no fathomage. you must link all the pieces to see the 'picture'. however, it's that missing piece at the end of said puzzle that is worrisome. LOL

More worrisome perhaps to find it- but i meant it all from a purely literary pov as yesterday we were discussing various literary characters and our affinity or lack thereof for them. For example when discussing Thomas Covenant, for different reasons, he was disliked- but it was not for lack of depth- no, he was damn good at being so pathetic it was easy to dislike him- yet the characters in the Wheel series annoyed people to the point of closing the series. Another commetn i wd make on characters is a note at say, Charlie Brown- it's a child's cartoon character right? No- he and his frieds are Everyman in the literary sense. Who hasn't had the football yanked out from them? Who hasn't wished they could just put on some goggles and fly above it all? Who doesn't wish all our problems could be solved by a little blankie and who above all who, doesn't dream of dancing thru life? Perhaps we are more Schroder than Woodstock, but we get thru.

I don't know whether anyone caught any of the dozen posts I made and deleted this morning. Today is a day of second thoughts for me I guess. I'm glad they came sooner than later.

The forumcartel.com forum is very nice. I will stop looking for a new home. SLU is interesting (if a little overwhelming), but the not-worksafe aspect rules it out for me. I'm tired of being angry about SL Answers and will try to not post about forums any more.

I'm glad Blue talked with Brenda.

Well I just ran around the house trying to take some of her and I got some. But now I can't find the camera's USB wire. Soon as I find it I'll post them. I love when kids use things and don't put them back. Makes me want to just snuggle them in a headlock.:)

And you would think that any old USB camera cable will do(from my old camera..) Doesn't fit...My 14 yr old has a half of day today so should be home soon. I am sure he knows where it is.:rolleyes:

id rather see one, or all three of these places take over rather than see everyone march off to slu single-file. i think the reality is that people arent willing to put in any effort at all though, and will opt for the ready made community.
I tried SLU, but I just never felt like I fit in over there. I'm going to focus on forumcartel.com
