Here is a small paragraph I wrote regarding Book 36 of my novel: "The Second Passage".
This excerpt was written from Chapter 11: Robbery At The Bank.
A week after Warder joined the Alliance party, the team investigated a downtown robbery happening at the local bank. While many residents were observing the crime scene, some of them just went away from the bank until the Alliance came over to show them what to do.
With his avatar on the Alliance side, the downtown bank then closed, and over $7 million dollars were robbed from the realm.
End of paragraph.
edit: I never started the book, but this might give you an idea about what the "Realm of Second Life" books (Books 36-56) would be all about in my novel. Off to imagine things in lunch...

I used to ride the school bus with a boy named Scott. I HATED him. Thought he was a huge jerk. He teased me mercilessly, stuck grasshoppers down my back, pulled my hair, etc. I only found out 2 years later that everyone else knew that he liked me, and I was too dense to realize it. I was a big geek back then.  Mmmhmmm, I had one like that too. Patrick was 'my' Scott. There was a tree on the way to school. (we walked, was only few blocks) and the tree grew some kind of fuzzy pods, to this day don't know what kind of tree that was. If they touched your skin you would welp up and itch like crazy, so of course, we named it, the itching powder tree. Patrick was always dropping those pods down my back, until the boy who is now my husband, beat the crap out of him. |

Well Tex,my brother's name is Richard and he grew up with everyone calling him Ricky. He hated it and I thought it was a pretty dumb name compared to Richard as well. We call him Rich or Richard now. So maybe that stupid nun had at least one good point in her life. Yes, I have to admit as I grew up (or older at least) I'm glad that Richard is the name that stuck. _____________________
