Earlier tonight I got my airship/submarine ride :) It was fun except for stupid ban lines  (There was a pilot - but he had just gotten ejected by the ban lines thing! argh! Who knew you needed parachutes on these things!)

I made the mistake of reading that feminist thread this morning. Now I have a splitting headache.

Old pics for you. If you've not visited the 109prims store then not only are you missing out on a fantastic build (you may have seen the glowing white carousel on various Flickr photostreams) but you're also missing out on the incredible wearable vehicles for sale there. Demos are available for everything. These are the three that I ended up buying the full version of: Jack-o'Lantern, Blue Bird's Cage, and My Grandfather's Clock:

Last time I went there, 109prims was situated at: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Drill%20factory/66/128/399

Wow! More spectacular Skell shots. I'm going to visit that place as soon as I get back into town (nice long weekend away -- no internet! Hooray!).

That "feminist" thread makes me want to spit out my teeth, and I consider myself one, but not of the OP's stripe. I hope it has dropped off the first page by the time I return from my vacation.

Have a lovely weekend all, and your friendly forum liberal odd bird reminds you to thank a member of the military, or their loved ones, for the freedom we wish to preserve (if you're from the U.S., of course ;) ).

I'm sure I'll return to about 80 pages of unread fun next week.

Have a good weekend, Bith. I'll drop the LM to 109prims on you inworld, because this post will probably be long-lost by the time you get back.

Happy Saturday morning all. Camping has been postponed. My friend's little boy broke his leg yesterday.:( Also,my mom is back in the hospital and things don't sound to good. My brother is heading there this morning to be with her.

Well on the bright side.... eh there really is no bright side today. I think I'll just go back to bed.

Have a good weekend everyone.*hugs*

Rolf and Greta bark hello to Boomer:

This was a very hard pic to take. They barely sat still. :) Greta's obviously had her picture taken a billion times. She's bored with the whole thing now.

Oryx, your doggies are gorgeous!

LOL...they're sort of a version of the American Gothic photo. :D

Rio, my best hopes for you.

For those of us in The States, have a safe and enjoyable Holiday weekend, but remember it is about more than cookouts and shopping. As imperfect as it is, we live in a wonderful country, one that many have sacrificed so much for. If there is any type of event near you this weekend, be it a parade, wreath laying, or other ceremony, try to find time to go. If not, then when you open that first beer at the barbecue, take a moment to say "Thank You".

Wow, more fantastic pics, Skell! I really loved the jack-o-lantern one. (but I'm partial to Halloween. :D)

Thanks for the pics - and for the slurl. :)

Oh, Rioko...:(

I'll keep both you and your mom in my thoughts today. I'm hoping all goes well.

And I'm sorry about your friend's boy! It's terrible to break a leg at any time, but gosh...right at the beginning of the summer. :(

And good morning, Threadies! :)

The blog said: "A nutritious breakfast: scrambled eggs with chives, roasted yukon potatoes, creamy steel cut oats, toasted French baguette, and blood oranges"

lol...but no nutritious coffee?

Oh, wait! Look what I found!

Looking for a short party dress? I just saw this on xStreetSL - it's only 12L (guess it's a limited time promo) for the deep red version:

It is indeed - he would have been in it if he had not been forcibly removed - shortly thereafter, I too plummeted to my 'death'. That would be him in the vintage car also. Vehicles in SL are ever the adventure! An no worries- has been duly warned I am not to be entrusted with the guidance of any conveyance more complicated than my feet (just ask Steely!)
