Classical allusions are obviously wasted here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cato_the_Elder

Better known as Cato the Censor as well as Cato the Wise.

So...you are equating yourself to one who's later career championed the invasion of a sovereign nation, and the destruction of it's capitol because it could one day be a threat?

I think the allusion is aptly ironic. :)

If he had lived in the twentieth century he would have made a fine American President wouldn't he!

Did I notice that your time here was soon to be ending? After you learned so much from me as well. What a shame. Nothing to do with 'non-existent' forum ARs was it?

Cato neither swore nor lied.

That is an interesting juxtaposition of your words and your sig image I might note.

Ok, there's the problem, I didn't go from your profile, duh, will do that tomorrow. I went from my own LM to Honey's mall and then thought you'd said that the other art was at Phil's store, so used my own LM for that, too, no wonder didn't find more. So will continue this quest, from your profile. Great that you sold others also, as well as the 2 I bought. They really are nice pieces.

Thanks :) Oh, and there are two art galleries at Prim Savers, mine and Phil's. Phil's art gallery has fantasy stuff, if I recall correctly.

Oh, and while I have people here who have bought my stuff, two questions.
1) I have a script that can put a frame on my pictures then delete itself. The frame stays. Art object remains 1 prim without scripts. Somewhere along the line I decided people might prefer unframed art, so I stopped selling framed art except for one piece. That one piece has sold a few copies. Sometimes to the same person that bought the unframed version (I have both up, one called framed, one called unframed, at the Prim Savers art gallery).

i.e.: (picture taken at one of my previous art galleries.

Do customers prefer framed or unframed art?

2) I keep putting up and taking down my abstract art. The abstract art, except for a few, are items made on my computer, my only computer art. Should I leave up, take down? Going by customers, I've sold a few abstracts, as in, I think, 3. huh. I know I have at least one of my abstracts on my flickr, but I can't seem to find. :( Frustrating, saw one the other day.

Clearly the finer points of correlating historical record with historical events elude one so steeped in the lore of plebeian accomplishments.

This lunchtime + Cato thing reminded me I had a sandwich called 'Spartan' for lunch. Greek, of course, not Roman, but still.

It's nice, in my opinion to have the choice because I use it 2 seperate ways. Sometimes on wall (then framed would be nice) sometimes on easel (unframed in that case). But you said that the frame you made, would frame the painting, on request, right? So if I bought one like that, then decided to use the painting on an easel, I wouldn't be forced to rez the frame out, right? So could have it or not have it. So yeah the frame would be nice to have there if I needed it.

Cato wrote most of his own history. Various of our own Presidents have tried that with an ever increasing lack of success. ;)

Compared to the current and previous occupants of the Oval Office, Nixon doesn't look that bad.

 A Spartan Sandwich?

Was it something like two slices of bread, a piece of lettuce, and a very thin sliver of ham?

or

Ceterum censeo Sparta esse delendam.

I hope you destroyed the sandwich. ;)
