Belated good morning, good day and good night. Was very busy all around, and sadly, like Skell am experiencing some allergic asthma problems as well. Inhaler and Zyrtec keeping it barely under control, having trouble breathing but it could be worse (Skell, I suspect from what you wrote you're having a much worse time than I, I hope you're doing better by the time you read this).

Anyway will catch up on everyone manana, haven't had any time to read anything here at all, let alone go inworld other than to take these pictures because I wanted 3 to see how adorable the PJ's looked on me.

Anyway - here are some pix of me in the pajamas which 3Ring made the other night and generously gave me. They are the kyoot! (And one vain closeup of course).

EDIT: BTW 3, when you read this. These PJ's are exactly something I really would wear in RL in the winter, color, pattern, the whole shabang. I have something similar in light blue, with sort of an atomic galaxy print on it :D

I hope YOU are feeling better soon, to, Elora. Let's look at your great pics again too. I love these pj's.

Thanks Lexi. Great takes. I will begin investigating... please wait over the next few days and see what it is! Remember to send me (all) your photos of the region and I will make something great out of that region and credit you for that!

This should be a fun job... I can tell. Want to be a known resident? (I will accept photos (FULL regions only, plz) when I'm not busy, etc.)

I would be ok with Rhaorth Antonelli turning the first post in this thread into a large and informative advertisement for her creations.

You know, as a benefit for being forced into being the name attached to this thread when it wasn't her intention to start a 12 million post thread.

not sure where this comment came from but... um... no

I won't do that.

Unfortunately I can not change that I am the one that started this thread, and thankfully (knock on wood) I have stopped getting complaints from random people about it, as though I did it on purpose. *shrug*

Early morning for me. I an not in this thread so much. Last night I wanted to take a bit differnt picture, so I was trying some popular sims. They were so laggy and filled with avatars and sculpts. Took ages to rez. I think I really need a better computer. I popped into an almost empty sim and took some "War Wench" pictures. One of them made me think of my favourite poet. http://www.karinboye.se/verk/dikter/dikter-en.shtml

Yep - Marianne's picture is difficult to beat... although I do like dragon pictures too!

Marianne's picture reminded me of a great song I heard on the radio the other day:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgqUeYwINqI

Beautiful voice! It's a great loss to the world that this guy died at 38, whilst under the knife for heart surgery after carrying around 100lbs excess for a year too long...

The song totally struck me... it came deep out of my past - my Dad had a great fascination with C&W music, and I always pretended I hated it... but it was just a running joke really... I kinda gave it a nod by buying all of the Eagles albums when I started collecting music, and I kept my Dad's tapes (Boxcar, Nelson, Buckwheat, Rogers (preferably without Parton), Wynette, etc.

Thank you for the nice comments. The funny thing is that I didn't think any of the pictures would come out good. Some messing around in Picnik really helps. Picnik is such a great tool with lots of nice effects.

Zyrtec (Zirtek here in the UK) is one of the better antihistamines, although I can only take that form of the generic (Cetirizine Hydrochloride) and not the x2 form (Cetirizine Dihydrochloride) because the latter makes me drowsy as hell. Another generic you could try (no idea of brands where you are) is Acrivastine, which is marketed as Benadryl over here.

Have you not tried Neoclarityn? Its active ingredient is desloratadine, a much more effective non-sedating antihistamine than the cetirizine found in Zirtek/Zyrtec. I think it is only available on prescription still, although the weaker form, Clarityn (loratadine) is over-the-counter. Its side-effects are much less scary than Zirtek, or Allegra and Clarinex which are the other second generation anti-histamines.

Pep (Best taken with alcohol on a yacht in Monte Carlo Harbour this weekend)

PS Someone might want to quote this post as Elora and Skell almost certainly have me on ignore! :D

Good morning, Threadies.

Wow...the pics the past few days have been amazing! Thank you...everyone!

(That's pad thai next to the coffee, by the way. :) ) The pic said it was from the Viengtai Hotel in Bangkok: Scrambled eggs, sausage links, ham slices, french toast with honey, fresh fruit, and pad thai. And cups of coffee and pineapple juice, although I don't see the pineapple juice.

Lovely breakfast, Mo- beats Trollmlettes any day!

@ Marianne - no, He was resting and permitted the wandering human to sit near him a bit :).

Any one want to visit, the slurl is at the bottom of the photo- gorgeous place has a club just on the other side of the wall there. There is another great dragon, He is standing and flicks his tail as one walks past.
There are a couple more pix of the guardian dragon on my Photobucket- http://s497.photobucket.com/albums/rr336/Amaranthim_Talon/

Pep - Enjoy Monte Carlo if you are indeed going - Friday is the day off for practice sessions for the Grand Prix (this weekend) - there's always too much stuff happening in town on a Friday to justify shutting the streets for a motor race, so they do first practice on a Thursday and pick up the rest of the weekend on the Saturday. Don't count on getting much sleep if you are anywhere near the track on Friday night/Saturday morning - rebuilding a race circuit isn't something that happens silently....

Friday nights in Monte Carlo are fabulous, particularly later in the summer, with all of the fireworks displays lighting the sky all through the evening. they even look good from afar - I remember watching them from a beach at Ventimiglia where my uncle had organised an all night long party/feast. There were literally hundreds of different types of freshly made Italian delicacies on offer, that all of the family and friends had brought along. That was one of the best nights of my life, as most of the younger crowd were gorgeous Italian girls, and I was (made to be) the centre of attention as the "Bello Inglese" - they were practically fighting over me for my attention... it was almost overwhelming... which made all of the older ladies laugh (and God, my Mum was so amazingly happy on that day too).

I reckon I'll be hitting Monte Carlo again next year, catch up with family and friends and maybe see the race from a good vantage point too - my cousin has some connections.... I might even check out the casinos, they are the most beautiful in the world.

Rud (And no, I am not Pep - I only do dolphins - and crikey, there are a lot of them in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7zJ0yVSSvE)

How about some Lolfoods - like Lolcats but with food?
I mean, the sausages could be saying: -
