How about some Lolfoods - like Lolcats but with food?

Thanks, Elora. Things aren't too bad this morning, but I haven't gone outside where all the people are yet ;)

Zyrtec (Zirtek here in the UK) is one of the better antihistamines, although I can only take that form of the generic (Cetirizine Hydrochloride) and not the x2 form (Cetirizine Dihydrochloride) because the latter makes me drowsy as hell. Another generic you could try (no idea of brands where you are) is Acrivastine, which is marketed as Benadryl over here.

Glad to hear you're doing better, as am I. My throat is raw from the inhaler, which happens, but no big deal.

Zyrtec works best for me. I've been using it since it came out, way before it went over the counter. My doctor had me try all other similar meds (here in the States, at that time Zyrtec was horribly expensive and my insurance would not pay for it unless I could prove no other meds worked for me). It does leave me drowsy, so I take it late in the day. I sleep through when it begins to hit and I'm fine when I wake up. Can't always time it that way but during allergy season when I'm experiencing symptoms daily that works out well.

Thankfully it doesn't get this bad often where I have breathing issues. Yesterday was the first time I've used that inhaler in probably a year.

Indeed it is Jerboa, when a man as fine as you comes riding into the thread to wish us a happy day :)

I love The Far Away, took pix of me on my horse there too. It's a wonderful area to have a ride.

not sure where this comment came from but... um... no

I won't do that.

Unfortunately I can not change that I am the one that started this thread, and thankfully (knock on wood) I have stopped getting complaints from random people about it, as though I did it on purpose. *shrug*

It came from the fact every time I enter this thread I see that first message. Because most of the "message" part of the message has been replaced with one or few sentence, the large signature block about your business takes up most of the room. Which made me think. Since it already kind of looks like an advertisement for your business, I would not be annoyed, angry, disappointed, whichever word goes here, if it actually is turned into an advertisement.

If you'll excuse me, I now have a date with a cafetiere of Douwe Egberts and a bar of (85% cocoa) Lindt chocolate. My reward for getting through this week ;)

@Pep - Yes, you're on ignore and have been for a long time, but since Rudolph quoted you I'll say thanks for the recommendation. I have an asthma review upcoming, and I'll mention that antihistamine to my GP.
