From: Treasure Ballinger Well not nice to say I'm not sorry someone plummeted through the floor but since she did, oh well. All the more left for ME to buy. Just made my first visit and OMG what a wonderful store, both of them really, so original and different. I had a great time, sorry about your other customer Amara, hope she just 'TP'd Home', lol. Thanks Treasure It was great meeting u in world and I am honored you enjoyed my little shops I sent the 'dead' customer a little gift for her troubles.. I sent a Thought Bubble- maybe I should have sent a parachute...

From: Love Hastings OK, I'm sure you mean well. But why one in public, and the other (presumably) in private? If you want to keep civility to this thread, you might consider handling things evenly. ummmm, I thought I did? /327/85/252954/2535.html#post2369003

From: LittleMe Jewell Lil got out, after a true day from Hell -- thank you kindly, Damien. Let's see, my original flight was to leave at 5:10 pm and the airline only had two other flights to Seattle today, one at 7:00 am and one at 12:20 pm. I left my house with 6 inches already on the ground and basically blizzard conditions - got to the airport at 9:30 and it was barely snowing there. Got on stand-by for the 12:20 flight. That flight was a bit late arriving due to the weather, so I finally got called for standby and boarded at 12:30. We had the de-icing fun and then sat waiting for takeoff cuz visibiltiy sucked, finally took the scenic tour back to the gate to get more gas and then back to the de-icers again and finally took off at 4:00 pm. Landed in Seattle at 5:30 their time and finally got to the hotel and to my room about 7:30. Internet connectin is fine, but cannot get logged in to SL. Live chat says it may be a firewall issue - I'll check with the front desk in the morning - or it might be an ISP issue, but the ISP says they don't help with online games and since I can connect to the internet there is nothing more they can do for me. Zena and I may be hunting up an internet cafe tomorrow. I have a BOTTLE of wine and I'm hitting the bed with my book soon. Welcome back Claire -- and Congrats on hitting your 20s. Glad you made it to Seattle, Lil. My fingers are crossed for you. Who do we know in Seattle???

From: Allegria Kanto Oh thanks, Mo... Wow! I was falling all over myself jumping to conclusions on that one! heehee... LOL The trip to Seattle has been planned for a while -- and spending part of the weekend with Zena. Then, due to a variety of things, we decided to move the wedding to tomorow night while I am here with Zena. Guess without all the details it could leave a person wondering.

From: Love Hastings Pep's comments are often deliberately written to be open to interpretation. But there's always a nasty interpretation in there. Something to consider. You are right about the complexity and potential ambiguity in many of my posts, but there has *never* been an intentional nasty interpretation in *any* of my posts to Lexxi!!! On the contrary, I find her one of the most intriguing and sympathetic personalities here in The Thread - unlike some others I could name, but won't. Maybe you should ask *her* how she felt about my (I thought gentle) teasing, which provoked her into posting a few hawt photos? If Lexxi was upset at all I will unreservedly apologise. And thanks Oryx; at least someone gets it. Pep (I can't be held responsible for the misinterpretations of others)

Good morning, Threadies! TGIF (or TGIS)!! I have a feeling this may be a repeat offering, but I like it: (and if you have a chance, congratulate Jerboa on Missouri's win in the men's NCAA basketball tournament (in the Sweet Sixteen round)...he's just a "little" excited about it. )

Morning Threadworld- OK I did the bump.. but can u do the Hustle???? Or wait.... Do... the Locomotive with me... and now that I have contributed to the shame of m generation- can I go back to bed??? And for you folks on the other side of the waters - I have a friend involved in this: http://www.playhousecheltenham.org/ who is enjoying it immensely. When I was in High School, I was active in our schools Dram Club! One year we put on Spoon River Anthology. After about five hours of the ongoing torture part of the set feel on one performer whose closing line, "Spoon River, Spoon River, keeps calling me home", was to close the show... A wall had fallen on him towards the beginning of the final performance but in true theater fashion, the show must go on... we had all forgotten abut him when at the very end, a disembodied voice from beneath the rubble proclaims...."Spoon River, Spoon river...."

Last night I was relaxing with a friend in a quiet sim, minding my own business, when a dead body fell from the sky directly on top of me, crushing my ego and sundering several extremely tender attachments. I understand that the owner of the skyshop directly above had been negligent in the care of her building, particularly the floor. I also understand that the owner might frequent this Thread and accordingly I would like to know to whom I should address my claim for compensation.
Pep (My friend will not be pursuing a claim, as she avoided injury, my body taking the full force of the blow)

From: Oryx Tempel 3Ring, I think Pep was teasing Lexxi a little, hinting that he'd *like* to see her in her underwear. I don't think he was being a dickhead. Exactly. Unfortunate that that was misinterpreted. I'm willing to bet Lexxi was somewhat flattered.
