Morning Threadworld- OK I did the bump.. but can u do the Hustle???? Or wait.... Do... the Locomotive with me... and now that I have contributed to the shame of m generation- can I go back to bed???

And for you folks on the other side of the waters - I have a friend involved in this: http://www.playhousecheltenham.org/ who is enjoying it immensely.

When I was in High School, I was active in our schools Dram Club! :) One year we put on Spoon River Anthology. After about five hours of the ongoing torture part of the set feel on one performer whose closing line, "Spoon River, Spoon River, keeps calling me home", was to close the show... A wall had fallen on him towards the beginning of the final performance but in true theater fashion, the show must go on... we had all forgotten abut him when at the very end, a disembodied voice from beneath the rubble proclaims...."Spoon River, Spoon river...."

Having actually 'been there, done that', I know that dance was the 'Locomotion'. See you didn't date yourself after all. I love the Hustle, and all line dances really. The Macarena too. On SL, the Caramel is my favorite dance, can be alone on a dance floor doing it by myself for hours.

You are right about the complexity and potential ambiguity in many of my posts, but there has *never* been an intentional nasty interpretation in *any* of my posts to Lexxi!!! On the contrary, I find her one of the most intriguing and sympathetic personalities here in The Thread - unlike some others I could name, but won't. Maybe you should ask *her* how she felt about my (I thought gentle) teasing, which provoked her into posting a few hawt photos? If Lexxi was upset at all I will unreservedly apologise.

And thanks Oryx; at least someone gets it.

Pep (I can't be held responsible for the misinterpretations of others)

Thanks. :) I did initially take it the wrong way. Briefly. Since I've heard that type of comment before without it being teasing.

I was somewhat "flattered" that my name was the one used there since I hadn't been part of that conversation.

I love you people!

But I think it turned out for the best- love my new floor and walls :)

Good point...

Looking at the pic, I bought that, that, and that, oh and that too......lol My house looks like a replica of this store. See that stained glass wall? I actually replaced/covered a piece of my house wall, on the outside, with it. Just one section, it copies, going to do the same on the other side of the house. Hadn't considered using it on the outside but it's very trendy looking really gave the house a lift.

Which I took to mean that Pep was calling me a slut, or easy, or something along those lines.

this is also how i interpreted it. but alas, he says he did not mean it that way, so we'll just have to take his word for it. moving on.

*hugs*

Hey, Amara -- I have that mosaic face (the one in your picture) embedded in my land. I'll have to post a pic after I get inworld tonight.

ETA - Okay, Pep, I PM'd the guy to tell him to repost.

If modifiable you do not need to use up a prim putting it up on inside and outside. Can just stretch it through the wall so it shows up on both sides. Like the stained glass up at the gallery at Cherry Park.

heh, though I stretched it so it was clickable/touchable on both sides. Since there was already glass there. And could have left it on one side or another. Or even inside the glass, like I did, accidently, with one of the pcitures (good thing I've been here 2 years so I knew how to retrieve the artwork from inside the glass, heh).

I thought I'd found the Friday thread:

/119/c1/313781/1.html

But the guy posted it in "Services" -- so you can't reply.

maybe LL can move it to a place that it can be addressed. :p

I thought deicing was what was on de wedding cake?

Pep (Sorry - can't stay up late enough tonight to be there, but keep me a slice?)

PS Just thought - this may be a joke which doesn't travel, as you call it "frosting" I believe
We call it icing or frosting, so the joke travels well.

I knew the non-US folks probably wouldn't be able to make it tonight, but as so often is the case, RL has to dictate the specifics of this stuff.

*hugs* I'll save you some cake w/ icing

I made my comments because the only photos of you that I remember seeing in the thread (and I don't think I have ever seen you at the hangout except for recently when you were a white cloud showing a couple of us your art) you were wearing nothing, or as close to it as was PG here. I wasn't complaining, by the way!

But since you took it the wrong way initially I shall be more careful in future and apologise unreservedly if I upset you even a little bit.

1 user agreed. All kidding aside, I'm really surprised that THAT crack was taken as any sort of insult. Maybe Ghosty is right, and we all need a bit of a Forum break.
