3Ring, I think Pep was teasing Lexxi a little, hinting that he'd *like* to see her in her underwear. I don't think he was being a dickhead. :)

/me waves to Allie. :)

Lil is going out of town on vaycay, that's all. :) The weather (blizzard) was getting worse and worse in Denver, so she was concerned she wouldn't be able to get out of town.

Oh thanks, Mo... :D Wow! I was falling all over myself jumping to conclusions on that one! heehee...

ooh, i have this new addiction to maraschino cherries. those look yummy, even though i'm not necessarily drawn to sweet drinks (unless they have tequilla in them -then they cannot be wrong). :p

never had tequila, but I do love the sweet drinks - and I love maraschino cherries. Used to work in a bar, and I'd pinch a couple of cherries whenever I could. I'd end up getting a glass of water and grab some cherries with it lol.

my own little concoction i put together to make sort of a fruit cocktail - i cheat and used canned goods, but here goes:

1 lg jar maraschino cherries
1 can chunked pineapple
2 cans mandarin oranges

pour all the liquid into a glass, add tequilla and drink.

if you want to eat the fruit, go for it. i just wanted the juice. LOL

Quick! Cover her up with a new floor and pretend she was never there.

lol...I've seen people eat a bowl of maraschino cherries as their appetizer, with their bar drink, as they wait for their table. :p

lol, I've already slapped that one's wrist. :D

OK, I'm sure you mean well. But why one in public, and the other (presumably) in private? If you want to keep civility to this thread, you might consider handling things evenly.

Lag. It took her so long to plummet, he had time to send the message. And write a short story.

Pep's comments are often deliberately written to be open to interpretation. But there's always a nasty interpretation in there. Something to consider.

Well not nice to say I'm not sorry someone plummeted through the floor but since she did, oh well. All the more left for ME to buy. Just made my first visit and OMG what a wonderful store, both of them really, so original and different. I had a great time, sorry about your other customer Amara, hope she just 'TP'd Home', lol. :)

When I started to cook dinner tonight, I turned on the faucet and the water just trickled out... no water anywhere in the house. Called the water company and they weren't having any problems.

Come to find out, when the cable technician was fixing the TV and internet, he saw the outside faucet leaking a bit so he turned it off only he picked the wrong valve and shut everything off.

Just heard from a friend in Denver, said flights are being cancelled the storm is really bad. Hope Lil got out......
Lil got out, after a true day from Hell -- thank you kindly, Damien.

Let's see, my original flight was to leave at 5:10 pm and the airline only had two other flights to Seattle today, one at 7:00 am and one at 12:20 pm. I left my house with 6 inches already on the ground and basically blizzard conditions - got to the airport at 9:30 and it was barely snowing there. Got on stand-by for the 12:20 flight. That flight was a bit late arriving due to the weather, so I finally got called for standby and boarded at 12:30. We had the de-icing fun and then sat waiting for takeoff cuz visibiltiy sucked, finally took the scenic tour back to the gate to get more gas and then back to the de-icers again and finally took off at 4:00 pm.

Landed in Seattle at 5:30 their time and finally got to the hotel and to my room about 7:30. Internet connectin is fine, but cannot get logged in to SL. Live chat says it may be a firewall issue - I'll check with the front desk in the morning - or it might be an ISP issue, but the ISP says they don't help with online games and since I can connect to the internet there is nothing more they can do for me.

Zena and I may be hunting up an internet cafe tomorrow.

I have a BOTTLE of wine and I'm hitting the bed with my book soon.

Welcome back Claire -- and Congrats on hitting your 20s.
