This weekend is the last hurrah for my local ski hill. I suppose Spring truly has sprung.
Apparently winter is making a final huge appearance here. Yesterday morning we had a Winter Storm WATCH for today, yesterday afternoon it became a Winter Storm WARNING with an expected 8-15 inches and this morning it has been upgraded to a Blizzard Warning with possible 2 ft in the metro area.

I am headed to the airport in a few minutes to see if I can catch the earlier flight out since it is just suppose to get worse as the day goes.

Between this damn storm and the wedding tomorrow night, I am an absolute nervous wreck.

Have a good day everyone. We have wireless at our airport so I will probably check in again later.

I read that wrong. I read that as:
"You'll always find me in the kitchen in panties"

I realized almost immediately that I read that wrong, or I would have asked what you could possibly have meant.

Local TV news has sunk to such low depths . It makes VH1 reality shows seem like PBS. Absolutely moronic babble

Morning all! It's the beginning of my usual 4 day weekend (not by choice)

I'm with you, babe. Our entire crew just got notified that we're all losing one day/week of work. I'm down to 27 hours now. :( I'd go drown my sorrows in a bottle of wine but it's too expensive.

Another reason to like you, Mo. You can't swing a dead postman in my family and nothit a fireman, and if you don't hit a fireman, you'll most likely hit a cop.

I love firehouse breakfasts. I'm going to one this weekend at one of the local houses for a fundraiser.

Not much else at the moment, off to figure out breakfast which is tough when you have a cold, nothing seems appealing, but more coffee is a given. I even have Seattle's Best in my canister, must like Maureen posted :)


OMG - make sure Ghosty gets that passport application in PRONTO!!! This is the high season for getting those processed. You might even want to consider coughing up the dough (albeit it's expensive) for an expedited passport processing.
