Brad told me he wasn't interested.

that's not what he told me. but, he's a gentleman. he knows GB is my man, and he would never infringe on a happy relationship.

Good day Threadville.

This weekend is the last hurrah for my local ski hill. I suppose Spring truly has sprung.

For some reason, I'm in a Steinbeck mood. Make of it what you will.

Oh! and it's Sweet 16 night! Root for the Missouri Tigers for me, 'kay? :D

Sure it does. Doesn't the idea of a man being miserable while making your life nicer appeal to you? YOU? Of all people. :p

That sounds rather good actually. I have really good Valhrona chocolate here to use for hot cocoa, powdered, where you can add your own sugar (which I prefer, I don't like things overly sweet).

***BTW, note to everyone:

Ghosty wants everyone to know that he is very touched by everyones good wishes and responses to him leaving the Forum for now. He really needed a break here, this thread included. I'm trying hard not to discuss things with him either, help him break the obsession lol. He's still inworld of course, and if anyone wants to say hello there, feel free. He's still the helpful, friendly llama he always was :)

FWIW, Bruce Springsteen was on the Daily Show the other night.

At one point Jon Stewart and he were talking about how Springsteen makes political points in his songs and show, and how some fans boo him.

Stewart: Do you ever pretend when they boo they're really chanting "Bruuuce"

Springsteen: Yea :D

So...count it 3. Yup yup.

I don't like the direction this conversation's going...

Ah well...misery loves company. Maybe that's why we get together to watch football, and boxing. :p

Can I just comment that the guy who wanted to learn how to log in different accounts to SL at work really pissed me off? There are literally hundreds of thousands of people without jobs right now, and he wants to fuck around? How many people would take his job in an instant?

Erm...Some jobs have that latitude.

/me slinks back to her office desk, after bidding the threadians good morning.

He does, to excess. To the point where it's annoying me and I had to beg him to back off lol. I'm not one of those people who like being attended to when sick. Sort of like an animal that crawls into a hole. I'm more like the further away you are, the better :p

If I understood your point I would probably disagree with it.

That sounds like something from a cheap spy thriller.

"Psst...do trees have pollen"
"When the cherries blossom"

and anyway, should he be breaking her into "the scene" on the air?
