Good day Threadville. This weekend is the last hurrah for my local ski hill. I suppose Spring truly has sprung. For some reason, I'm in a Steinbeck mood. Make of it what you will. Oh! and it's Sweet 16 night! Root for the Missouri Tigers for me, 'kay?  Go Tigers!  lol...when I saw "Steinbeck", my mind jumped to the movie, "Cannery Row" - I loved that flick! |

He does, to excess. To the point where it's annoying me and I had to beg him to back off lol. I'm not one of those people who like being attended to when sick. Sort of like an animal that crawls into a hole. I'm more like the further away you are, the better  My RL best friend is like this. When she's sick...she wants to be left alone.  |

OMG - make sure Ghosty gets that passport application in PRONTO!!! This is the high season for getting those processed. You might even want to consider coughing up the dough (albeit it's expensive) for an expedited passport processing. The Post Office is actually pretty good, I wouldn't bother exprditing for a May trip, I would just get it in in the next week or so. I got mine last year at this time for a trip to Canada and it took 2 weeks on the nose. I would fill out the form on the computer, then print it out and bring it in, it will make things a bit easier. I did the pictures at the Post Office as well, the whole process took about 10 minutes. _____________________

Apparently winter is making a final huge appearance here. Yesterday morning we had a Winter Storm WATCH for today, yesterday afternoon it became a Winter Storm WARNING with an expected 8-15 inches and this morning it has been upgraded to a Blizzard Warning with possible 2 ft in the metro area. I am headed to the airport in a few minutes to see if I can catch the earlier flight out since it is just suppose to get worse as the day goes. Between this damn storm and the wedding tomorrow night, I am an absolute nervous wreck. Have a good day everyone. We have wireless at our airport so I will probably check in again later. Sweetie...my fingers are crossed for you that you can get on that earlier flight. |

I did a little inventory purging today, and found a buried folder of some older pics. So, I thought I'd bore you all with them. Some may have been seen here already, if so, deal with it.
Here is where the Forum Cartel was born, the original Hangout, so to speak. The first few meetings were held on the back porch of my place in the West of Ireland sims.  _____________________

If there is anything worse than hell, "No internet" would be it. I could survive fine with no internet in the home, using work and or say a library computer for it. I did it when my last computer blew up on me. It took about 6 months for me to get around to replacing it. _____________________
