From: Rob Howlett Almost caught up — only 13 more pages to go. I was over 100 pages behind at one point. That's what I get for staying away for 3 or 4 weeks. /me waves to Rob How are you feeling?

From: Damien1 Thorne This pic as was Amara's last one were from the Fantasy Gardens. I found this place and Humvee Cuba on www.sl2go.com. As normal we barely scratched the surface of the garden. Always so little time with so much too look at. Lovely pic, as always, Damien.

From: Rioko Bamaisin Morning threadians-For your morning cuteness pleasure, here is the un-named kitty being fed by my my brother. He's a messy little eater. Actually I am having such a problem with these stupid nipples on these bottles. They don't come with holes. So either he is getting none at all or too much. I think I have destroyed like 3 of them already.Gah. He has gained an ounce and a half though.(Must take pic of him on digital scale,it is so damn cute.) So obviously he is getting something... /me faints That kitten is just.too.darn.cute (kinda looks like a miniature lion)

From: Tod69 Talamasca Is it wrong of a 39 going on 40 yr old to ask out a 19 yr old on a date??? Not a "date" date. Just a "I'm so f**king bored with sitting at home on weekends" date that I'd ask out my own mother" She's cute, a bit "hefty", but I have NO alterior motives. Its just a "go out for fun" thing. BTW- I also feel like Poop! Since last Thursday, I have NOT had a cigarette due to a cold. Thank you, Snus! BUT in the last hour?..... 2 cigs. I would've appreciated the comeback of taste & smell BUT.... I have a cold!!! I cant taste nor smell anything!!! Is it "wrong" ? No. It's just hard to imagine what you'd have in common (but I did read that you two do have similar gaming interests). The "hefty" comment... And sorry you're not feeling well. But geez!!! You were working on not smoking...and then you smoke two ciggies! No wonder your lungs are not happy with you!!!

From: Marianne McCann G'mornin an g'evening, thread! this was another one of them very full weekends. One of those ones where I wonder exactly how this all happened, an how it all fit into the space of two days and an evening. Late Friday night, a friend of mine who does some code work for a certain Virtual World we all inhabit god teeped me into LindenWorld C. this is not the sorta place many of us Residents ever get to see. The Linden in question needed a warm avatar to test on (an no, I doon't tink I can talk too much about the "what" involved, even if I did know), and well, there I was. LindenWorld is a small block of sims that various Lindens use. Part sandbox, part office, the place is pretty chaotic. And yes, you know I snapped piccies. M Linden posted a bunch of piccies recently of LindenWorld on his flickr stream, so I figgure if he can, then I can. Here's one of the more interesting, of the GTeams "Griefer Area." The next day was the big snail race. RacerX Gullwing usually does big snail races, but this one was special. Over 100 snails crossing 45 sims as a Relay For Life fundraiser. It was utter chaos. Well, it was close to utter chaos - that was Sunday. Anyway, it was lotsa fun. I was cheering on my brother, who did't quite come in last place. Here's a shot of the leaders from very early on. This night a Linden teeped me to an event, but not in any place like LindenWorld or nuttin, and not a god teep neither. This time it was a fundraiser for the SL Shakespeare Company. Thing about this? It was a sushi party. Specifically Nyotaimori, or body sushi. I wondered: should a kid avvie be this close to a naked CodeBastard Redgrave, and should I AR myself? Yes... there is a picture: Now then, Sunday. Parade time in Nova Albion, in honor of their 5th Anniversary. This really was utter chaos, with enough avatars to fill two mainland sims, enough lag to stop us dead in our tracks, and everything from Barcola zombies to giant musical intrument robots. Here's just one shot of a small amount of the group including yours truly: This was crazy, but it was also a ton of fun. Even with all the lag and troubles, I'd gladly do this again -- and will. Finally, the party with the Forum Cartel. Doin it up 50s style! Thankoo all f'r the fun! Have a super week, everybuggy! Ohhh, Mari...even though I was gone over the weekend (and am just catching up with the thread), I wondered how your SL weekend had gone-- I missed the Mari Weekend Update!!! Thank you for your posts..and your pics. Awesome pics and stories, as always!

From: Elora Lunasea Welcome home Mo! I'm sure you'd rather stay in OBX, but happy to have you back. Like Brenda said, the Welshman has no idea what the Americans need for breakfast, particularly the coffee Can't wait to catch up with you. I think I'll give you a buzz, but I've got an awful throat thingie going on, so later in the week /me smiles. Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly, though. Pics from the beach: Sunrise, as seen from my bedroom door Another view from the deck outside my bedroom:

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook *pours coffee* Good morning everyone! I'm back in modeling classes (different agencies, different schools) so for the next two weeks, don't expect to hear a lot from me in the evenings. Hopefully though, this will get me back on the runway! Woot! Didn't think I'd miss it nearly as much as I have. Hope everyone has a marvelous day! Yay! Glad to hear you'll be back on the runway. Hope the classes go well. You could prolly teach the classes, though.

From: Elora Lunasea Happy day to all! I'm still home sick but made myself feel better by booking a Bermuda cruise today for Ghosty and I; woohoo! NCL was running a sale too good to pass up for the week of my birthday so we bit the bullet and went ahead with it. Guaranteed balcony room, with possible upgrade if we're lucky and since I've sailed with them a few times before, hopefully we'll get some perks thrown in eventually too Time to go on a shopping spree! Weeee! Ohhhh... a cruise!!! Excellent!!! You *so* deserve this. My fingers are crossed for all sorts of extra upgrades and perks and stuff.

From: Lindal Kidd Strip down. Put doggie in people bathtub. Get in tub with doggie. Pet doggie, give him a treat. Let him get used to the tub. It will be easier, since Mommy is in there too. Run water, set to lukewarm temperature. Turn on shower. Wet doggie down. Wet Mommy down. Shampoo Mommy, rinse. Shampoo doggie, rinse. Turn off water, towel off doggie. Towel off Mommy. Towel off Mommy again when doggie shakes. Repeat as needed. Exit tub, establish firm footing. Hoist out doggie. Give doggie another treat. Pour Mommy a large treat. Go sit by fire with doggie to finish drying out. I printed this out and also emailed it to my sister.

When last we left Bith's saga, she was taking Amar's tip and looking for mature land for her horror build on the aptly-named "Slyme." Alas, not enough land was available...but Bith persisted, in spite of her vow to tier down, and eventually found a nice plot suitable for her scary place. She then placed most of her old PG land up for sale, expecting months of checking the yellow status of it sadly, shredding infinitives all the while. Imagine her surprise when it sold within two days for her asking price! Bith is suspicious...why is PG land suddenly valuable? *squints* *changes from 3rd to first* In other news -- I've found an anti-griefer (or, perhaps, just anti-faint-of-heart) gambit: I went to check on my last parcel of PG land wearing my phantom woman avatar, and scared two residents right off my land. They screamed "ghost" and fled!
