I bet once you were sitting out on a balcony, wrapped up in a warm blankie, sipping a hot drink and watching icebergs float by, all those worries would float by too  she has paid for one mexican cruise (we did not go) and one alaskan cruise (hubby went). she wants to hit alaska one more time. i know i am unreasonable and paranoid with nothing to back up my fears.... but i don't like water or boats... i probably won't go. but if she offers a trip to disneyland, i'm all over it.

My first cruise was on Carnival - full of kids running amok - I swore never again. My other one was a more expensive one aboard Royal Caribbean - very few kids and they were much better mannered. More of our vacations these days see to be to Adults Only resorts also. I don't really hate kids, but I raised mine to have manners and be respectful of the people around them, especially adults -- and I prefer to not deal with the ones that others choose not to raise properly.

From: Oryx Tempel This is exactly what I do. At first they hated HATED baths but now every time I take my own human bath, they both stand there looking wistful. Plus, since Boomer's a lab, he'll get to like water more as he gets older. i don't have a tub. we shower!

Tomorrow March 25 between 9:30 and noon, CBS Paramount pictures will be filming a TV scene on the Potomac River near the Key Bridge in which special effects (loud noise and fire) will simulate a small water vessel being blown up. This will be a heavily monitored and controlled event lasting only a few seconds. There is no cause for alarm. please go and try to sneak in a cell phone pic!
