The thread is hungry. The thread accepts the grilled cheese sammich.

In other news, the thread . . I mean I and Claire attempt to rescue Crazod from the clutches of the dread pirate . . um . . wait, no, just from the water. He was drowning.

Rotting, you mean. That's a wooden avatar.

/me waves to Ceka and the other Shoppers and the Thread!

I had a GREAT time shopping with you all Saturday. I didn't go over my money budget, but I sure went over my time budget...I'd figured on an hour, in and out. Over two hours in, we STILL hadn't covered all the stores on the list.

I hope you all go back and see any of them that we missed, especially the last one, PixelFashion. They are one of those "some of everything" department stores. I fell in love with their opal jewelry (with moving textures!) and thigh high snakeskin boots.

Star please! :D

I just logged in for the first time, and already someone is trying to pick me up. The new help island is a huge improvement. Looks like a mini putt course though.

Hi everyone, *waves at the Thread*

I missed the shopping trip and Claire's party! :( It's really hard for me to get in SL that early. Hope you all had a great time. If one of you who went on the shopping trip would drop me the notecard, I'd love to visit the shops.

At my house we thought it was kind of odd that whoever-it-was paid all that money for 3d Superbowl commercials but didn't really make any arrangements for us to have the special glasses needed to see them.

I guess you must not have been watching the right TV station or listening to the right radio stations. Or visiting Wal-Mart. They had oodles of the glasses for free at Wal-Mart. Came in sheets of four and you had to cut them apart. It really wasn't very impressive though, they did a very poor job of actually making use of depth.

Oh, that's where the glasses came from. I was wondering it myself. Thanks.

Yea, I was confused about that also. All this talk about 3D. And then 3D ads. And 3D programing tonight.

TV: "Put on your 3D glasses now!"
Me: "um . . you assume I just happen to keep a pair of 3D glasses sitting around waiting, gasping, whimpering forlorn, hoping for the chance to be used?"

I haven't been inside Wal-Mart in years. I haven't listened to the radio in a while. I keep forgetting to turn on the television. No, I did not get the message. I guess I'm in a situation where they would have to hand deliver them to me for me to get the idea I might need them.

And even then, you probably don't need them.

Why is my paranoid little mind now thinking that it's all some plot to brainwash the masses?

There is nothing paranoid or little in that mind of yours. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
