Ashe, don't worry. I don't hate Rha at all, I just felt it necessary to tell her a few truths as I see them. I have said what I wanted and it is done as far as I am concerned :)

Yes, because I am sure it looks perfectly normal to the person that put it up- I am equally sure- although I will check when I can, that on my lappy it looks normal also. First thing I did was tp to Talon Faire and make sure I wasn't a thermonuclear plant over there- i wasn't :D

You should check out the first version of the Medieval Chair you had sent me on the pc. The final 2 versions are great.

That thread is what I was referring to when I said the BS stuff- if you despise drama, why court it?

I read many people some of which I generally disagree with but can still read them. I even found myself wondering why I let Porky get to me the other day in the cat thing and realized i didn't really give a crap.

I think if we collectively- and i don't mean 'we' cliqueshly- mean we as a group of forum readers regardless whether 'we' are acquainted or have never spoken, just make a conscious effort to ignore such nonsense it just fades eventually of sheer boredom.

You saw the other night how well i scooted around- will need to adjust settings though- Hera's hair glows in the dark under the old Windlights I had. Sad thing is lappy is still more comfy in bed than the PC!

The megaprim I'm using is a 65530x65530x0.25m torus. The client would normally visibly render it, but a couple of the object values have been changed (skew, cuts, radius, etc), which ups the complexity enough that finally the client just looks at you like you're crazy when you ask it to render the thing. The side effect is that if it's attached to your avatar, your mesh, skin, and clothing disappear - like an invisiprim KINDA, except you don't eclipse other avatars and water, etc, that're behind you. You're just....not there. Except for any other prim attachments you're wearing - those show up fine. It's a greener, lag-free alternative to an invisiprim if you want to make a prim avatar of some kind (say, a skeleton or robot-thing).

It causes no lag whatsoever because, as mentioned, the client never renders it. The client IS aware that it's there, though, so it's included in the ARC count - wearing one gives you an ARC of roughly 150,000. I decided to have fun; I attached a single 1x1x1m prim, and then attached one of these mega prims to every single other attachment point on my avatar; this gave me the ARC of over 3,000,000 with no greasy aftereffect. I walked around Kuula to demonstrate - no troubles whatsoever.
This is so cool. It's now on my list of things I want to play around with.

OK- I just need to comment and can't do it in RL- my boss just came to me and asked if it would be too penny-pinching if we do not make coffee every day. There are three people in this office of whom only two drink coffee, he and I. Make that only one person now drinks coffee as I am perfectly able to purchase my own on my way in. /rant, tvm for listening :mad:
