You mean using a needle to insert pigment through the cornea into the iris!? ! Kind of hear to imagine...

Not the iris, the white. I'm not exactly sure how he does it (trade secret) but so far he's done dots on the white, and filling in the whites to make the eye look a solid color (dark blue, e.g.) It reminded me of the time that my SL eyes were messed up and I looked like a Child of the Corn with completely black eyes.

Thankoo, 3Ring. Maybe it was Cousin It's sibling. It was sorta like the ruffles on a flapper dress, if those ruffles went all the way up a person. Very different outfit, but sort fit in this group.

ha ha! you really know how to describe something in a 10-words-or-less kind of way and yet be very colorful. i like that about you. in fact, i just plain ol' like you. :D

Update:

Upon review and reflection, I have chosen to not move forward with the store transaction. Thanks all for your support and if you feel like shopping today...go for it! I'm sure the current owner would love the support :)

=/ *hugs*

Oh dear this all sounds way too stressful. I hope it's resolved soon and you like the outcome.

thanks for your support everyone.

i'm not a quitter. which is the only real resolution that i would like at this point. but that goes against my pride AND justice convictions so i just can't bear to do it . =/ i did try to find another job last summer, but was promised something if i could bear to stick around... as of yet, that promise has been dangled like a carrot but not quite come to fruition, but i understand i just need to be patient.

this is just more of the same from last year, but different. i know that's cabalistic , but i guess what it boils down to is that i don't have a safe haven to go to in the administration, which means i have no support - which means i say something/fight it and probably get fired, or spread eagle and take it like a nice little violated victim until the school year ends and hope for a better placement next year.

there are good things on the horizon if i stick it out, but man o man is that ever hard to do at this particular juncture. =/

i'm okay. i have you guys. and my hubby. and my kids. and my kitties. and my friends. i have tons of support. just not of the legal caliper.

edit: OH! and i have wine. lots n lots of wine. LOL

do you prefer information (regarding that) via IM inworld or PM here?

I guess you must not have been watching the right TV station or listening to the right radio stations. Or visiting Wal-Mart. They had oodles of the glasses for free at Wal-Mart. Came in sheets of four and you had to cut them apart. It really wasn't very impressive though, they did a very poor job of actually making use of depth.

no- in fact there was only one instance requiring the 3D glasses, which was in the very beginning of the trailer when the fireball was going away from the screen. it was a really shameful attempt to get people interested in the movie. i was expecting the whole 90 seconds of 3D action.

now that i know that the movie itself only has a very limited need for the glasses, i will not be wasting my money on the movie. i guess i should be thankful i only lost 90 seconds of my life - and kept my $8.

PM here I think, just easier to not lose it in the madness of capped IMs, or notecards in world. I get IM to email, but things still get lost.

I've seen that one before!

When I was younger I would've had it done, but now I think "Do they realize they're gonna look like that forever? How do you hold a job with something like that? What effects will it have on your vision as you age??"

My poor computer had a hard time between a bazillion admirers and all the particles, but I managed some cool shots of the Dex man anyway. Hopes someone got pics of the forum people who attended. :)

These are 1042x768, btw, which is why they aren't posted normally. :)

Tonight's riddle: How do you make your avatar look like a single 1x1x1m cube prim, while giving yourself an ARC of over 3 MILLION, without actually causing any lag at all, client or sim-side?

Hint: It's NOT Photoshop. :)

Dakota, does it involve moving sliders all the way to the left, a folded up pose, invisiprims?

Did you get your ARC up by putting many many small prims inside the box? I'm wondering if there's a bug in the ARC calculation where by it doesn't factor in what actually needs to be rendered.

You wear a megaprim to cancel out your avatar's mesh.

Specifically someting very large and involved, like a tortured torus. so involved that the client ignores it entirely.

Please stop torturing the torii. They are just regular shapes with the same hopes and dreams of any other. :(

Good Morning Oh Thread My Thread

I'll admit to feeling a little left out. All of these cartel shopping trips, and bargains...

I propose the guys go on a shopping trip!

Course...we're as likely to come back with new robot avvies, a whoopie cushion shooter, an F4U Corsair, and an orbital trampoline, as anything else...but hey...it's "shopping" :D
