Oh and p.s.: Check out the Inventory thread; I posted links to a bunch of JIRA issues for Inventory Filter suggestions.

this.

I haven't seen it yet, a certain puppy demanded a walk at halftime otherwise he threatend to add something to the punchbowl. I'll watch it later. I will say I thought most of the commercials were sub par.

Also, except for the usual singing it like a Christmas Carol, Jennifer Hudson was marvelous. She looked fabulous. Kudos to her. :)

Whoa... I had an experience the other night... I had to confront this woman (long story, and never mind) but the situation was a bit tense and I was concentrating more on maintaining my TACT than on noticing my environment.

Anyway, it was this showdown on an empty sim. Just me and her at high noon.

At last I wore her down and she tp'd out.

As soon as she did, darkness fell. I mean, from brightest day to darkest night.

That's when I realized: it was midnight, but her facelight had lit the whole space around us like freaking midday!

I almost shot an IM after her to "loose the frickin' facelight", but I wasn't ready for round two.

I didn't pay too much attention to the commercials this year.

The two that stood out for me were the e-trade baby with his friend. And the Coke Zero take on the old Mean Joe Green commercial, with Polamalu doing Green's part.

I thought the Doritos was cute in a slapstick way, and the Budweiser Clydesdales are always sweet. The Coke was OK

my fave commercials were:
1) (this takes 2 commercials to make the joke) the Frito Lay commercials when the guy uses the snowglobe like a magic 8-ball - to predict whether or not he'll get free chips that day. so he throws the snowglobe as hard as he can at the vending machine and busts it open - FREE CHIPS! so, it worked.

later, another Frito Lay commerical (and the real comedy) when the guy uses the globe to predict whether or not he'll get a raise from his boss that day. what does he do? throws the globe at his boss. hits boss in the crotch! OUCH! think he got a raise that day? LOL :p

2) Mrs Potatoe Head puts on her angry eyes. LOVE IT! :D

3) Clydesdale horse fetches a stick, and brings back a whole tree branch. totally cute! (edit to add that i also loved the Clydesdale that fell in love with the circus horse. very precious)

Good morning threadies!

Odd weekend for me...FOUR various, non-related friends told me they were leaving SL...makes me very, very sad.

The agency I modeled for...closed down...makes me very sad too.

Met a couple of new friends....makes me happy.

And...purchased a women's clothing store inworld...makes me very happy except now I have to start making clothing...makes me terrified but thrilled!

Thanks 3. I'm not making any changes initially, until I see how sales go.

BTW all, if you're going to shop there, please do it tomorrow when the vendors become mine :)

Part of the purchase price was her unreleased items, so those will be trickled out, while I get up to speed on everything else.

Did I mention that if you're going to shop there, please do it tomorrow when the vendors become mine? :D

Shoes cause that effect???? Here we need an Exorcist - or a script that kills that "bling" totally. Well, unless you want that look. You are playing a scary charachter....

I exorcised them into my Trash can :D - Scary? I was going for so sexy-hot souls would beg to be taken to hell ;)

Howdy folks!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and that all of our British friends are safe and warm with all the snow there.

Limited time for me in SL this weekend. Sorry I missed Claire's party, sounds like everyone had a great time.

I did finally manage to join this Friday Night Horseback Ride. A great bunch of folks and the ride was a lot of fun. I'll being doing this again as soon as I'm able. I even got to meet 3Ring and Amaranthim briefly at the end of the ride.

The friday ride was at the Nomanisan sims. I'd highly recommend adding this one to your "places to explore" list. It's 9 sims that make up a mountianous island. Beautiful landscaping through out with some of the best beaches I've seen in SL.

Finally just to put in my 2 cents worth, the Super Bowl was a good game which is not always the case. Too bad the wrong team won. The commercials didn't seem quite on par with past years.
