I don't disagree with you, 'specially about tobacco n' alcohol. But Alcohol for one, in moderation can actually be good for you. And theoretically we're all adults here, and we have the right to pursue happyness in our own way, even if it puts us at risk to ourselves.

There are many people out there who have been seriously affected by abuse from partners/relatives who were heavy drinkers - or have been killed by drunk drivers. The facts on 'passive smoking', where non smokers working in smoky environments have themselves died of smoking related illnesses, are also well documented.

Just because someone chooses to harm themselves, doesn't mean that others aren't affected. In a similar vein, just because someone opens up a virtual horse sex parlour doesn't mean others aren't affected even if they choose not to participate themselves.

You're right, however, about "a little alcohol being good for you", and it's even written in the Bible. I'm brewing some home-made scrumpy right now just to see if I can do it (it's an evil looking brew but that's another story altogether).

This was a big deal in Texas only a few years ago.

When investigating probable cause for another crime cops stumbled in on two men having sex.

They arrested them and prosecuted them using Texas' archaic sodomy law.

One of the press statements made by the prosecutor in response to criticism at the time was basically .. (paraphrasing) "Its perfectly legal to be gay in Texas, but it is illegal to have gay sex"

Maybe, maybe not. In 2003 the U.S. Supreme Court struck down all laws that made homosexual sodomy illegal in all states. I'm not sure if it's been determined how that applies to heterosexuals yet.

Virginia is not a state..it is a commonwealth.Not a state in the sense that blanket federal state laws apply. I know it used to be this way definitely..recently..within the decade..I havent spoken to my homosexual relatives in a while or gone out and been clubbing in any appalachian gay bars to ask them if they were going home to participate in any illegal activities.

They've expanded since yesterday. Their empty plot is now where the store and open air slave auction is going to go. Adds a whole new dimension to the fun. Maybe I can find a good provacy screen seller for that edge of the yard.

Meanwhile, my mommy talked to the owner of the place yesterday, after I got no response to my note to them. They're opinion is, essentially, that they are within TOS and will do what they please.
