From: Ann Launay Is there such a thing as trout sushi? Trout is for breakfast, fried in a sizzling pan over an open fire while you are camping. Picks up the pot of coffee with the broken egg shells in it that she is fixing for breakfast. Looks around with a smile on her face wondering if it would be more fun having him here cooking then later watching his waders fill with water as he tries to fish. Woops there he goes his head under water, guess I will cook him for breakfast anyway.

From: Ann Launay Not sure about the sushi, but I know where you can get a humpable avocado. Well, there are two versions actually, depending on what you want to insert where. Will there be prawns??

From: Soji Slade Well it wasn't Oryx that I put on Ignore. And that is the person I quoted when I mentioned my new use of the Ignore. Ahh! Good point. I was worried there. I like Oryx. I'd feel bad if she had me on mute. /me slides a tuna roll over to Soji, on the house.

I like the way you camp! There's nothing better than waking up in a sleeping bag to the smell of campfire coffee and fried trout. Cold, fresh air, the sun coming up over some nameless alpine lake. I'd go this weekend, but it would be some nameless alpine skating rink this time of year and even I'm not hardcore enough for ice fishing and snow camping.

/me slides a tuna roll over to Soji, on the house. Thank-you, but I like my fish the way I like my men: black and over easy. Wait. I meant to say: to talk with and grant me wishes (gee that episode of the talking gift giving magical fish suddenly slapped me up-side the head like a wiggling fish on a hook), but not to be eaten, nor used in any way sexually (your little Dolcett scenario with the living sexually excited octpi was starting to freak me out, Trout). Oh, and I actually prefer scrambled, not over easy.

Just keep your hands to yourself please I would hate to have to mute you. Hey, those mushrooms should be popping up soon too. Won't that be great, trout, coffee and shrooms We will never get any fishing done, but oh hell who cares it is just the joy of being there.

Because someone had to:
You can bugger the bear, if you do it with care, in the winter, when he is asleep in his lair, Though I would not advise it in spring or in fall-- but the hedgehog can never be buggered at all.
If you're feeling quite coarse, you can bugger the horse, or the palfrey, the jennet, the stallion (with force), You can bugger the donkey, the mare, or the mule, Though to bugger the pony is needlessly cruel.
You can bugger the ox (if you stand on a box) And vulpologists say you can bugger the fox, You can bugger the shrew, though it's awfully small-- but the hedgehog can never be buggered at all.
Herptologists gasp you can bugger the asp, Entymologists claim you can bugger the wasp. If an insects your thing, man, then just have a ball-- But the hedgehog can never be buggered at all.

From: Tex Nasworthy Which is it Phil? Its okay when Phil does it but not when I do it. And even if I can explain my thought process, he ALSO apparently gets to decide not only that I am wrong but that I made a mistake AND that I agree I made a mistake but wont admit it. A bit presumptive if you ask me. Normally I would say such thinking equates to him being full of shit. But we don't need to add scat to the rest of the weird topics of this thread.

From: Trout Recreant ... Why is the space shuttle black and white, then? Why not tiedyed purple and green? COMPLETELY and utterly off topic...I saw a marvelous photoshopped pic of the Shuttle once, covered with advertising like a NASCAR entry. This thread has become far too strange for me...I'm not even understanding more than 50% of the individual posts, let alone the thoughts linking them. /me takes Marianne by the hand. Let's go play on the swings, honey, and let the grownups talk about...er, whatever they are talking about.

From: Chris Norse Do you really think there is no ageplay taking place in private IM's? No. I didn't say that I would do everything necessary to ensure that nothing ever happens - only that it would be banned. From: Rebecca Proudhon 3. To Phil, nice of you to call Colette in her spinning, but you missed all the 20 other spins and attacks as though I was insulting Combat Vets, by telling of research about battle fatigue in video gamers a preposterous spin of what I was talking about, and frankly your claim I started the flaming is just as much of a spin, "for your own purposes."
I didn't miss the rest, Rebecca. In fact, I used Colette's 'mistake' as an example, since hers was the newest one at the time. I've no idea where you got the idea from that I said you started the flaming. I said no such thing. I didn't even hint at it. I never said anything about you flaming. You've got me very puzzled now. I think you've misread something.

From: Chris Norse The last part of your first point does make a lot of sense and should be implemented. Your pleas of compassion, show what a truly dangerous person you are. YOU know what is best for everyone else and dammit YOU will implement controls so we all conform to your all caring compassionate standards. Sorry, I will fight that way of thought till my dying breath.. How noble, compassion for mentally ill and disturbed person is bad and "dangerous," and freedom to peep, screw virtual horses and ageplay while masturbating, you will martyr yourself for. Brilliant Chris. From: someone As for your last point, you are dead wrong, these griefers didn't need to be trained in WoW. WoW was just an outlet for their anti social tendencies.. Just at the time when SL gained those so called millions of people joining with free accounts was the same time as the WOW lull, before the last expansion. Most all gamers got into WOW. Before that they were in EQ and FX. WOW people were heading over to SL to kill time. No, you are dead wrong, the griefers are 9 times out of ten WOW players. From: someone In reality, they are nothing but punks who 20 years ago would have been pulling crap in the real world. A good kick in the ass and a few weeks in basic training would go a long way towards curing them. Many of these people are intelligent, but living in a virtual bubble and have no interest in anything in real life. They just do combat in video games and like raising hell with what they would consider nerds in Second Life. They live in Virtual Reality. Many of them were gaming since they were 11. The phenomena of online worlds is a new phenomena. It is not the same as the usual activities of errant youth in the past. Furthermore, it is a International thing, no longer local and the differences in their speech, lingo and dialogues hardly differs from country to country. It is a culture unto itself. To prove this go to the wow forums and look at the forums for the US, Europe and Aussies and others. They are virtually identical and it's all about who can kill best, get the advantage best and who can be the most irreverent. Most of them do PVP at all times. Sl is a joke to them. School or Work is a joke to them, girlfriends to many of them are also jokes. Older players are a joke to them. They know how to scam and lie and hack and know just how to lie about their age as well and get away with it. The live in the realm of animality 24/7. It's a brave new world.

From: Tex Nasworthy Which is it Phil? Touché - well, not quite I did say that "I *think* you mean..." (unlike one person here who insists that she knows better than the author about what the author meant), and I did reply to the actual question, as well as to the one that I thought was probably meant. So no points there, I'm afraid

So then you admit your ban is more about show than actually stamping out the behavior?

In response to whoever said anal sex was illegal....
it is definately legal in Britain
though that probably only counts for anal sex with humans

Count yourself lucky that oral/anal sex is considered legal wherever you may be from ..or maybe... its "immoral" and "against nature" to do such things ((maybe such behavior has no place in RL or SL)) ~Lana Tomba

From: Elgyfu Wishbringer In response to whoever said anal sex was illegal....
it is definately legal in Britain
though that probably only counts for anal sex with humans Since you bought it up ... just because "something" is legal, it does not mean it is right, safe, healthy, wholesome, morally acceptable etc. Look at the two most dangerous, addictive and widely available drugs available freely today - alcohol and tobacco. They're 'legal' but there is nothing you can say that can prove they are harmless to the human body. You only have to look at any town centre late on a Saturday night for plenty of proof of the dangers of excess alcohol consumption, and the violence, fights and medical problems it creates. Not just an isolated case either, it's every weekend (or every night), in multiple cases. The two biggest expenses to our healthcare system - smoking related diseases (including many cancers) and alcohol related issues. Yet what do the media always focus on as being the biggest problem? Obesity. I have a friend who weighs 436lb - yet apart from her weight... her blood pressure, cholestorol etc is perfect and much better than many friends to spend hours a day down the gym. Her problem is caused by medical issues, not sitting in front of the tv for 6 hours a day eating tubs of ice cream - yet people are so quick to judge and just say it's her own fault she's overweight. It's funny how people assume overweight people eat badly - yet when someone is dying of lung cancer, it's assumed someone deserves sympathy when in fact it's because they smoked 80 a day for the last 40 years.
