Dear Linden Lab, Once upon a time I asked in this forum about HUDs in snapshots, specifically their removal as a default option. I was told by Robin Linden that this had been reported as a bug and has been fixed. So I would like to demonstrate now how this fix, two months later, has yet to be implimented in-world: Click here to view HUDs in snapshot.I would also like to take this time to direct you to a few threads where you may read about fellow residents annoyance with this feature since its inception. 9096691002911179133991372916729556099570108922I am curious to know if you actually plan to remove this feature, as had been indicated the last time I inquired about it. Also, if this time you could actually follow up on when you plan to fix this in-world, since you apparently have had the fix for quite awhile now, that would be nice to know as well. First... I AM SO FREAKIN' HAPPY YOU COMPILED THIS!!!! Thanx for taking the time, Pacifien. The situation is as follows: you already know that you can turn off HUDs by toggling VIEW menu > SHOW HUD ATTACHMENTS. However, that's usably unacceptable for some, because you have to turn 'em on/off over and over. PITA. I'm going to let LL Development know that in addition to this having been asked for a lot in the community, the "HUDs in snapshots" annoyance has happened over and over--of course I've got your post bookmarked and going to add it to the file we have for this problem. Please contact me personally (torley@lindenlab.com) if I don't have any news for you by next week, this time.

AND THIS IS DONE!!! Second Life Preview 1.11 Snapshot Preview > "Show HUD objects in snapshot" checkbox. SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS!!!

Addendum: there's a known bug with this which causes it to not work. Already known about and should be fixed soon... we're almost out of the water.
