Ok, at first I was told by live help this was a bug. Now I read in announcements by Karen Linden, this:
"If you don't want your HUD to show in a screen shot, simply detach it for the duration of the capture."
I need to ask you guys something. WTH were you thinking?
It's no longer possible to take spur of the moment snapshots without having a hud in the way.
I have 4 hud attachments at all times. Now I have to stop, detatch my huds, take a pic, put them back on, and then hope I don't need a snapshot again for awhile.
Why didn't you just provide an option for this? Making HUDs in snapshots mandatory has to be the DUMBEST idea I've seen from you guys in a while. How about a button for snapshots with no UI, and one with UI?

Spiritfire--I'm a big HUD user too. I sympathize. And... in trying to do some photos the other day... I REALIZED I COULDN'T SIMPLY TAKE OFF MY HUDS BECAUSE SOME OF THEM CONTROL AVATAR ANIMATIONS WHICH I WANTED IN THE SHOTS!
 Yes. I do realize. However, Karen's quote wasn't exclusive, it was inclusive of a bigger context: When investigating the fix to the nametags and text showing in screenshots, we found that the HUD could be displayed in snapshots without having the UI turned on. We have enabled this feature for now. If you don't want your HUD to show in a screen shot, simply detach it for the duration of the capture. Emphasis mine, and things can change-- Just an idea... what do you think of a "Show HUD in next snapshot" button in the Snapshot window? PM or IM me please. _____________________
