The new system of including HUD objects in snapshots is horrible, and requires constant putting on/taking off attachments to get screenshots. Are there any plans to put things back to the way they were, or are we stuck with this new way of doing things?

As I take snapshots a lot too, and I use HUDs frequently, I totally understand how awkward the current way can be. I've been scouring the SL Forums for all the suggestions, including more elegant approaches. All the info's been forwarded and it's in the development queue. Part of it may (not definitively, but possibly, depending on how things go) connect to future improvements to snapshots in SL, so as to be more of an overhaul than a band-aid. I earlier suggested a "HUD in next snapshot" checkbox in the Snapshot Preview but am told that there may be a better way altogether.  |

Nepenthes, one extra thing I'm going to add--thanx Harry Linden for the reminder!--which you didn't mention, is VIEW menu ---> SHOW HUD ATTACHMENTS.
