If anyone wants to start sending me their stipend every week, I'll be more than happy to receive. I need all the help I can get.

I think we should name our group "S.O.S." - stop our stipends. :D

Lol! Do you think it is already trademarked?

We could be S.O.S.B.N.S.O.S-stop our stipends but not save our stipends

I think Coco may not appreciate that.

We had another Stip-end Rally this morning. A total of 8 people showed up: 3 Stip-enders, 4 S.O.S.ers, and only 1 anti-protest protester.

All in all, we had good discussions. Even Jonas made an appearance!

Next Stip-end Rally is tonight at 6 pm SL time at the same place.

Instructors and Real-Estate Mongor Monstors, not Stipends! :-P

I agree with the stipend cut aiding slightly to the SLEconomy, and then ontop of that possibly the premium stipend possible cut could help alot too but as most likely said before the true sources of a detiorating economy is:

1) Being able to set your own L$ Sale Rate causing an increasing factor of L$ to USD$ major loss in value. 2 months went by and watched the L$ drop outrageously in value, and I know this is clear to everyone and this has been 'half' tended to by adding the option to sell at the 'popular rate' automatically but even so the L$ is quickly becoming the equivalance of the German mark during WWII, gonna burn my L$ just to keep the primitives on my body warm heheh.

2) Another addition is the insane number of instructors, now I understand it isn't a 1:1 Ratio of teachers to newbies willing to learn but consider that since they raised class payments to 500L Per class for two classes a day. That is TWO premium stipends every day, not to account for possible people who have multiple instructor accoutns which I have known many for this to be true. Now I am not saying this is the ultimate contribution but also if you think, not many students are required for every class last time I had checked and the criteria of many classes minus scripting (My view as the most valuable classes) is actually quite simple and easy to do. I do teach often but I rarely list and send in the information for money because that is my slight contribution. I teach for the purpose of teaching not for money but it is helpful many times than not. This is NOT against the instructor program AT ALL I love how it is setup and it is a good community but maybe a bit more specifications in order to qualify for payment I don't know, I am not a financial expert nor will I be, I just see facts and one fact is that I have seen many people who reach their 31st day and become an instructor shortly after which I have nothing against but it does allow for many to apply and become one quite easily even if they are in search of only the L$. Please all of you instructors out there please do not take offense to this, I am an instructor, I teach and I do as you do but if you take one moment to consider how much cashflow is run through instructors you could see how it could greatly cause inflation.

3) Those monopolized monster land holding real-eastate companies that hoard over Second Life like the clouds of DOOOOM, some are 'good' whereas MANY are 'evil' in their own sense. L$ Inflation is a very direct connection to this maybe more than any other mostly due to the fact is that nearly every seller of land recieves only Lindens for his sale and then has to deal with their tier, so quite clearly he/she puts there L$ out for a better selling price as to recieve their money sooner and this is constantly happening everyday. I will not state the names of such companies as to not put myself in a sticky community situation just know that stipends although a large sum of money altogether and that it doesn't have to be earned it is not nearly the only contribution to this downfall of money. Watching the amount of L$ per USD$ would be just like watching the Memory counter on the G-Mail website when it first came out, some of you know what I am talking about.

The equivalent of a single tier Premium account at $9.95 USD Monthly only yields at most $6.00 USD a month through stipends which is billions of L$ in full population numbers but in truth only kindle for the fire that burns rapidly away the worth of our wallets. It is been said before and I am saying it again, in a friendly way, you can stop the stipends but it will only slow the slippery slope the good thing is, an electronic virtual economy can be reset with some whines and gropes but at least you avoid world wars and mass starvation. Hope you all have a great day and if I ever upgrade to a premium account, I volunteer my stipends and I hope you have enjoyed my random ramblings and if not I wish you better moods as you read on in other forum areas.
