I expect ppl to leave ME alone yes. Attack the "opinion" NOT the "person". What ever I have to do to PROTECT the PERSON I will do. It's called self preservation. Nope I don't have a problem with that. Question is why do so many ppl have a problem understanding the difference.

So have a nice day ok :)

Okay, please treat me as if I am slow. I have OCD and sometimes I can't see the obvious, but I do try real hard. In this post:

*wonders how many times the same questions will be asked and answered?
*wonders if anyone has anything new to add?
*wonders if these folks are finished stating their views so new ppl can post to this thread?

*This is getting old fast, round and round and round they go adding nothing postive to this thread.

Just thinking outloud no need to reply.

What opinion were you attacking? It seems to me you were attacking people who are expressing their views.

When you say:

That is something you have written before. I think maybe other people feel the same need to restate their opinions or questions in the same manner.

Is there a difference I am missing. Coco writes her statement about what she hopes to accomplish over and over so that people can get back on track. I don't see the harm in that.

Please forgive me, I'm try so hard to follow this whole thing.

The most successful software company in the world does a piss-poor job on all these points. Particularly the first three. Why do you expect Linden Labs to do any better?
Yes, it's true, I have a blog now!

You've spent the entire thread declaring an opinion.

And that would be YOUR opinion :D

would it not?

No, ma'am. That would be a statement of fact.

See exhibit opinions below:

I believe if a group of ppl is wishing to derail a thread that IMO is "problematic, and rude" depending on the post its self it could in fact vioate the community standars or the fourm rules.

I think you misunderstand me April :) as I said "to each their own". That means that your opinion is "ok" too. I don't see how that is mocking. I did not call you out by name, I did not insult you. If anything I allowed you your opinion and I hope that you allow me mine.

That's something I ask more and more as I read the forums.

According to wikipedia, Generally a fact is an event that has happened, or a statement that is generally regarded as true — whether one accepts it as real (true) or not.

On the other hand, an opinion is a person's ideas and thoughts towards something. It is an assessment, judgement or evaluation of something, such as calling someones remarks snide.

There really is a clear difference between the two, isn't there?

Everyone can decide for themselves.

No Cat, I'm not in the twilight zone. Are you questioning my state of mind? I asked you before not to belittle my comments. I am trying hard to understand. I am sorry if I am slow. But short cryptic remarks hinting at my state of mind are not nice, they are also what you appear to be against.

Attack the "opinion" NOT the "person".

I have followed your advice to the letter.

Despite Jeska's appeal, this thread has continued to spiral into interpersonal conflicts and attacks.

Thread closed.
