People were angry with that person. They *had* done something to cause people to be angry. You saw a friend (understandable at the time), and didn't bother to find out anything that had gone before. So you formed a judgement in your mind that day, that it was some gang against this person.

You had no idea of the individual things that had gone on. You had no idea why people had suddenly come to the point they had.

You say to us time and again Coco, you say "if you only knew", "if you had only read what they said", "if you had only seen the way they treated me"....

You just don't want to accept the fact that maybe others were as justified in their own anger and distress as you always want people to understand about your situation. You don't care to learn what all happened. Fine, that is your right. But it doesn't make people respect or support you more to hear that you want this, that, and the other because of what *you* went through and what *you* saw, when in all honesty you don't give a flip what the rest of us went through, saw, and delt with.

Christ, I hope not. Credibility is suffering enough.

Let's say she names names, gives a list, cites five threads, even - perhaps - makes a semi-credible case. Fifteen pages of heated "I didn't mean that," "You're taking my words out of context," and "I said it because" will follow. And three more pages of additional links-in-defense could inspire fifteen more pages of argument, if we're very unlucky.

And we have been very unlucky so far.

So what? Y'all are proceeding to the point of conflict from differing assumptions about SL, LL, and human nature, and no one is really challenging the assumptions. You're not going to solve it, you're just going to get tired and wander off to recharge for the next round, or drive people away.

She thinks there's a problem. Others don't. OK, the next step is - let's look at her detailed, systematic, comprehensive proposal for the problems she perceives. Put in that context, and not in a messy forum free-for-all, it may be convincing. Or maybe not.

I can wait and give her the floor when she's ready. But it better be damned good.

LOL, what Seth said. No, it's not going to be damned good. I am not practiced in such things. But - shaped by the conversation here and in the original thread in which I asked for feedback - I will put it up, imperfect or not.

He is gone and will not be coming back. He is gone because he intentionally antagonized an entire community of people. He is gone because he went out of his way to insult, belittle, badger, and attack scores of people. A careful examination of his posting history demonstrates that he was not a "poor sheep" but a cruel wolf who preyed upon others without provocation.

He is gone because he was unwilling or unable to modify his abberant behavior when repeatedly informed that he was behaving improperly. All those who are unable to interact with society in a civil manner deserve the same fate. You may label it persecution if you like, but those of us who actually witnessed his behavior know the truth.

Ah yes. I remember this thread. In fact I was the first in it to post my suspicions about Prok passing you notecards. Of course after this current thread we are in, you can see where I may have gotten the idea.

Yes, I remember that thread well. And again, Ulrika was the *only* person to call for your ban. Others talked about the notecard and possible alt issue, but no one agreed with Ulrika that "Coconut should be banned". We ended up discussing issues about alts and punishments if "such and such" *were* true.

I'm sorry, but again you saw some group after you that did not exist. I can't tell Ulrika what to do or how to be. But at this point your whole argument of "a group of people trying to get me banned", should change to "why the hell does Ulrika keep trying to get me banned". Ulrika's a big girl, she could handle the debate.

Ah. I would have to read the thread. I like to judge things for myself by reading them, etc. rather than just taking someone's word for it. But if you can remember who it was, I'd love to read it. I'll still jump on anyone (I don't care a flip who they are) if I think they are truly being an ass.

But you yourself have stated you refuse to read the histories here. You're willingly coming into it ignorant, and then trying to suggest reform based on that ignorance. You give some a pass, and condemn others, without even bothering to educate yourself.

You think this qualifies you to suggest any sort of reforms?

If your gonna go threw the history of the forums be sure to go threw all of it not just the links that justify your position. This forum has a very jadded history, not from one or two but by dozens along the way. I see those trying to pull me into this thread with their agenda's. I have no interest in their negative bullshit and I will not respond in kind. Shall they continue for the next year perhaps two? They will.

why do you ignore all requests at references to all your victimization and other forum tragedies and atrocities? if you gave references then perhaps many of us would be convinced of your arguement and support your crusade. i know i would given appropriate evidence.

You posted in this thread on your own Cat. Before anyone even said a thing about you. So you pulled yourself in.

As for the history of the forums, I agree. There were many of us who agreed and disagreed and had issues all along. There were some heated issues, some fights, and some major changes that many of us went through together. Some who are friends in world, some who have only met in passing, and still others that have never met. We have always been individuals. And we have always spoke our minds.

I also too believe in Karma. I just don't think it is going to bite as badly the same people you think it will.

Acturaly Pen I am referring to a link that was posted that has once again absolutly nothing to do with this topic. It's a "tatic" a rather bad one at that, as it brings nothing but ill-will to the forums. Guess some folks are just into that.

As for me well I noticed the results as I found it a bit odd that ppl would be against any idea before they even heard it. More so more than one person in a rather funny way disargeed with themselves in the poll lol.

Naw I have no problem stating my opinions, although those opinions do change I think part of the problem here is ppl assume what others think before asking them what they think. You maybe suprized by who I think deserves a Karma ass kicking, dunno maybe not.
