Any links to devlopments, particularly personal accounts would be appreciated. I tire easily of talking heads on commercial news. Seems to be a good time to 'go to ground' and get it from the source.

Maxx, the BBC news site (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news) has a lot of comment and feedback from people who were on the tubes etc. Look on the right of the news front page.

Ugggg. This makes me sick. My best wishes go out to all SLers, their families and friends, and everyone over in Britain.

I've got a couple friends over London-ways that I sent e-mails to, trying to make sure they are all right. I know I can't expect a reply for hours at the earliest anyways, but the waiting is rough.

But before we ourselves get all extremist I believe it should be remembered the people who do this have an extraordinary motivation to hate the our greedy, self obsessed, morally bankrupt society ( as seen through their eyes ). Our own governments had no qualms about killing an estimated 300,000+ ( innocent ? )...blah...blah...blah

I'm in the Norfolk area of England...about 80 miles North of London and all of us here are in shock. We were so happy and excited yesterday at the announcement of the Olympics coming here in 2012...partying till late into the night...and now this.

I hope everyone is safe. My thoughts are with all of you in London and with your families.

Oh yeah...and by the way...if you dont hear from people you are trying to reach in the London area, just remember the phone lines haven't been working properly as well as the mobile networks. Email seems to be working fine though so that might be an alternate way to keep in touch.

Just chatting to Pituca on Voice chat (that almost came out VICE chat, lol).

It takes more than that to get us Brit's down. Maybe terrorists don't read history, WW2 and the IRA ring any bells?

I truly hope all those in and around London , and those with family and friends there, are all well. Sincere condolences to thos who know any hurt and killed =(.

This is of course a sad day, and what was done evil and cruel.

Many have said - and they are right, Brittish resolve is legendary. My Grandmother would tell us how the bombs fell every night on Glasgow during the War.
