It just amazes me how you can get away with calling ppl names yet seem so self rightous. It's my opinion that only a fucking asshole would do something like that, not you of course I mean if I were to say your a fucking asshole I would be banned, so I wont.

Yes, you'll be able to do several different things, both creating a web page completely from a script, or redirecting a user to an external page.

You could even have an page that was different for each user, depending on the settings of the script in-world. Games like Scrabble, Risk, card games... they all become trivial to make. Even web-based tools for creating structures in SL are possible.

I have not sworn at Catherine, I only disagreed with her implication of this entire thing as being about Mitch's board position, instead of it being the right technical choice to make. I am not telling someone I don't care about their opinions, etc.. just stating that I disagree with them. I think the Firefox choice was an excellent one to make, and I am very happy about it. Catherine portrayed as this choice being a negative thing driven only by Mitch's association with Mozillla, not by it being what users want or the right choice to make. That is what I was pushing back against, and when I did so, was called a drama queen, told my opinions did not matter, etc. Please refer to Catherine for the childish behavior - I just asked for proof of what she was alleging. That is the least that someone can do when they make an allegation as a statement of fact.

You're welcome Firefox is the browser I use for the web so I just looked in my program files folder to see how big the install is, but as Catherine pointed out it looks like you won't have to install it anyway. I knew someone would come along who could explain it a lot better than me, hehe.

Well, sort of. NCSA Mosaic was the first "must have" web browser. So Mozilla and IE are related, but not by code, only design and function.

btw, while i didn't know the details, i suspected there was no "sourcecode" being shared between IE and Firefox. which is why i used "source". the above exchange kinda shows where my mind was at.
