I just discoved, that in some cases, the mute button is an AWESOME profanity (among other things) filter.

They ARE choosing their path based (at least in part) on their clients needs, as it happens. Since a good portion of SLers are Mac users... they do need something that's supported on Macs - and IE is not.

Their clients NEED a browser that works on Mac AND Win. If they went with IE, it would be a great big "We don't give a rats ass about you," to every Mac-using player in SL. And that would be a lot worse than installing a browser that YOU personally don't like.

And out comes Catherine the professional victim. Never ever does anything to anyone and is always perscuted. Around the wheel goes again - this is like a bad deja vu.

Bottom line is:

If SL wants to be a worldwide net, a replacement for the Internet, then we need reverse compatibility. That means web browser support, and this is possibly the single greatest upgrade to SL, ever.

Forum Guide lines SLUI style

1. If the original poster says anything that might and I stress might be negative everyone jump on them and quick. Make sure you IM everyone in your friends list to also do the same.

2. if they hang around be sure to insult them personally to include spelling errors and their "mama" they love that.

3. bring up any and all posts from the history of the forum in which you are posting and pretend that they should be ashamed of those posts

4. Act as if you have discredited them over and over again. If repeated enough some dumb ass will start to believe it hehe.

5. Keep asking the same questions, get everyone else to continue to take apart every single statement that person ever made. It drives them bonkers.

6. Even after they have agreed with one of our points of view, keep hammering that point home they love it if you wait say 10 pages and do it again. Trust me on this one.

7. Insinuate that they are a whore, a pig, a fucking idiot but never directly call them one, we cant have our ppl looking bad. You can say it just be careful to use it in a long boring post most ppl won't notice it.

8. Bring up big issues that you know hit them in the heart and make sure you don't show any emotion what so ever. Emotion is the enemy!

These are our laws failure to do so and you are not one of the chosen forum posters and your life will be a living hell. We promises you that. Even if it takes 2+ years. Disagree with us and your mud, we are Gods here.

The community, if you think the forum blow hards are the community then you dont know jack (see reference to jack above hehe). this is 10% of the population a well established fact.

THE FORUMS ARE ANYTHING BUT COMMUNITY. The community is not a bunch of Sanctimonious assholes. They are good and kind ppl for the most part you need to get out more when in SL.

Fuck your opinion. Is not targeting a person its targeting an opinion. Not once have I personally insulted anyone. If anyone read anything I wrote as a personal insult I suggest that their subconscious is trying to tell them something not me

The thing is, as far as I can tell, she saw the connection (as said in the newsletter) between the person being on the board or president of the board or whatever of Mozilla and then Mozilla being chosen to use in the game.

She questioned that.

She didn't HAVE a formed opinion about it. She questioned it. As any smart person would. Once she became convinced - as I was, by Cristiano's and other people's answers - then she went on to ask new questions.

None of that is a "wild conspiracy theory" or "paranoia" or anything of the kind. Any reasonable person would question it, until reassured otherwise.
